Greetings dear and precious saints of God, my brothers and sister in Christ Jesus. Welcome back to this engaging, empowering, and revelatory study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment to share this Bible teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The Lord is so good. The featured picture for today’s teaching was taken a few years ago of a beautiful fall scene in the State of Maine.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 45:21-25 (KJV)
21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
In verse twenty (not shown) God referred to those who worship idols as having no knowledge or ignorant. Of what are they ignorant, without knowledge? They are without knowledge of Him, the One and Only God. Does this apply only to the unsaved? First of all, let me say, we are all woefully ignorant about God. It is not the ignorance in and of itself that is the major problem. The major problem is are we striving to know more and more everyday about our God, to walk as He walks? Some are willfully ignorant, while other have rejected the Truth, and still others do not put themselves in position to lessen their ignorance. The following is an example from Scripture of people being willfully ignorant.
2 Peter 3:2-7 (KJV)
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Then there are those who reject the Truth.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Many times, the Truth is rejected in favor of the lie, the tradition of men and the doctrines of demons. Now Ministers are not getting up in the pulpit and announcing they will today be teaching the traditions of men and doctrines of demons. It seems they believe it to be the Truth but have not tested it in the full light of Scripture. Be careful of echo boxes. Don’t be afraid to listen to and text thoughts different from your own. Truth (Bible Truth) will stand the test but the lie will be exposed and fall.
Proverbs 18:17 (NIV)
17 The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him.
The third group I referred to are those who do not study.
2 Timothy 2:15-16 (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
