AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

IT SHALL COME TO PASS
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this powerful Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. Before we move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing. Those who share have an important role in the dissemination of the Truth, and in enlarging the reach of this Ministry. The featured picture today is of a Bactrian Camel (two humps) strolling across the land. This camel serves as a reminder that this is what some call “hump day” and we now sliding downhill to the weekend. This idea of dreading Monday and “I can’t wait for Friday” is a pagan (devilish) idea, not a God idea, and neglects our focus on the Kingdom of God. Whatever we do for a job is a part of our assignment in the Kingdom if we are in the will of God. Did God choose your job or did you?
As I mentioned on Monday, recently (again), the Holy Spirit has deeply impressed upon me the Truth that nothing is more important than the Word of God, than Jesus. No thing and no one are to be even close. Our worship (submission to) of the Triune God is not just another activity or a part of our life in the earth on a par with other parts or activities. Our worship of God is to supersede by far our love (agape) of anyone, any other activity, or anything.
Matthew 22:36-40 (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Let’s all of us let this soak in. With how much of our heart, soul, and mind are we to love God? How much of the law and prophets depend upon this Truth? The answer to both is ALL! Don’t get hung up on “I’m not under the law”. We are redeemed from the law of sin and death. God has not changed and will not ever change. What was sin from the beginning is sin now. The physical and spiritual laws from the beginning (except sin and death) are in place today. The only laws not applicable to us are the Sacrificial Laws for THE SACRIFICE has come. Come on Church, let’s get serious about being sons in fact not just in name of our Father!
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading out loud. You know why. If we want to increase our faith and please God we will read the Word with ears to hear aloud. If we are just playing we will do as we please.
Isaiah 14:1-7 (KJV)
1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
Israel has never occupied the land given to the “seed” of Abram. This is a type and shadow of the Church which as a whole has never taken hold of the promises of God. Let’s look at God’s Blood Covenant deed for the land with Abram and with the “seed”.
Genesis 15:18 (KJV)
18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
The word “seed” here is masculine and singular referring to Jesus the Christ. When Jesus comes back to rule and reign at the Second Coming, we will see the fulfillment of our text for the Jewish people. Jesus (and us with Him) brings the whole earth to rest, quiet, and singing will break forth. What a day and we will see it with our own eyes and have a role.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
