Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our study of the Bible Book of Jude. This Bible Book of Jude speaks to faith and unbelief, even the controversial topic of backsliding (going from saved to unsaved). Faith is the indispensable factor in pleasing God (Hebrews 11:6). Unbelief or disbelief is an anathema (abhorrence, abomination, loathing, curse) to God. He (God) doesn’t like it anymore when people don’t believe Him then you and I like it when people don’t believe us. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. The Lord is good. Remember, we study, not just read, the Word of God and we do it to renew our minds so that we are conformed to Him and not the world. Renewing of the mind involves displacing (Law of Displacement) the ideas of the world (by extension Satan) and replace them with the ideas of God.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (KJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Now let’s pivot to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud, yes, out loud, you know why.
Jude 1:1-3 (KJV)
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
As you may recall I left off last week talking about this God given concept of perfect expression. In this case I am talking about peace but it could be love, self-control, or even the expression of a gift of the Spirit of God. In order for peace to take its full place in our lives we must have knowledge as to what Bible peace is and we must be actively applying it fully to our lives. Help comes from the Lord when we reach the end of ourselves. Now, let’s again review the following passage from Philippians.
Philippians 4:6-8 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Notice that the passage starts with a command (not a give it a try) not to worry about anything. In place of worry we are to talk to God and find the Scriptural answer to the issue. This is resisting the devil. Scripture tells us that when we resist the devil, he will flee from us. Once we have done our part of not worrying and have applied the Scriptural answer to the problem then we see the Hand of God in verse seven. This is the perfect expression of peace, our part, then His part. Then the Lord tells us what to think instead of the lies the devils are presenting. This is how to maintain the peace attained.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. (Bold added)
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
