Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus the only way of Salvation. Welcome back to our empowering Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. You are a blessing to us and the Kingdom of God. Now, let’s turn our attention to the first topic which is a memorial of 9/11.
Twenty-two years ago today, some of Satan’s people attacked this Covenant nation known as America, a Christian nation. We held open the door to Satan by our descent into debauchery (wickedness, corruption). I am not talking about the heathen; I am talking about the Church. On that awful day some 2996 people died. As terrible as that number is, it is a miracle, it was the mercy of God, that many more did not die. We should never be so foolish as to think this was the first terrorist attack on this nation. Satan and his people have been attacking America from before there was a United States of America. Research the Barbary Wars. Satan is the original terrorist and his activities against mankind which started in the Garden of Eden continues to this day, and will continue to the last day. How much success Satan enjoys quite simply depends upon the Church. We, the body of Christ, the Church, have not taken the spiritual steps necessary to stop the spiritual acts of Satan which led to physical events.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Is our land healed? The abundantly obvious answer is a resounding NO! Why? Look children of God, this is not rocket-science. Read the verse.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 45:8-11 (KJV)
8 Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
Let’s bring our focus to verse eight of our text. On the surface it seems rather obscure and looking at different versions of the Bible is not much help. Something is coming down from the heavens. Righteousness is being poured into the earth and the earth is to receive this righteousness. This is the seed which brings forth a harvest of righteousness and salvation. This is a Messianic verse. Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, came into the earth. This is righteousness Himself and with His Resurrection and the release of the Holy Spirit for all mankind came salvation and a righteous nation, the body of Christ.

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
