LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART FIFTY-TWO

TIME FRAME SEVEN

THE ONE THOUSAND YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST

 Greetings my precious brothers and sisters in Christ.  Greetings to those who are not yet brothers and sisters in Christ.  I welcome everyone to this illuminating study of “Life in Heaven”.  If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment, saint and sinner alike, to hit the “like” and “share” buttons to expand the reach of this ministry.  As I mention from time to time this study is not verse by verse and some of the things I say cannot be taken to a specific verse or passage however I believe them to be consistent with the full counsel of Scripture and the nature of our God who changes not.  As you will recall I have been transitioning from the sixth time-frame the Lord gave me to illuminate to the seventh time-frame of eight time-frames.  Scripture places the Marriage supper of the Lamb just before Armageddon, however, the timing of the Bema of Christ (Judgment Seat of Christ) is not as clear.  It may occur as late as the White Throne Judgment.  This would accommodate those who commit to Christ during the thousand-year reign.  Since for the believer (and sinner) the Bema is when all done in this life is rewarded or we suffer loss it would seem that it would occur right at the end of all things.  The reason for this is that our actions may have consequences for centuries and our prayers God will honor for a thousand generations.  By looking at the possibilities of the quantum world we saw how these could occur outside of natural time.  Afterall, how long would it take for a couple of billion people to come and stand at the Bema and their whole life be judged?  In the quantum realm or world time and space have little meaning but events are transpiring as in this physical realm or world.  The Book of Revelation as are the other Bible Books are recorded in time from this physical prospective.  By way of a reminder let’s look at the eight time-frames as we move forward.   

1. Eternity before Genesis 1:1
2. Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
3. Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
4. Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
5. Resurrection to the Rapture
6. Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
7. One Thousand Year Reign
8. Eternity Future

As many, if not all of you know, I am fascinated by Bible numbers and how God uses numbers.  For a moment just think about the last time-frame which was the sixth and how it was a time of the judgment of man, six being the number of man.  The seventh time-frame is when Christ the last Adam is ruling in the earth for one-thousand years as the first Adam was to do.  Seven is the number of spiritual perfection or completion.  By the end of this time-frame all things will be made clean (pure, free of sin) again.  I believe that the time of the Garden of Eden was a thousand-year equivalent, giving symmetry to this seventh time period.  Think of it this way, there was a thousand years in the Garden of Eden, six thousand from the Day of Sin and Death to Armageddon, and then the thousand-year reign of Christ over the earth.  Six is the number of man and in this six thousand years God perfected the redemption of His man.  Since the first thousand years and the seventh thousand years are like bookends of the time for this creation of man in the likeness and image of God, what are the differences or similarities?  You will recall that God gave Adam seven mandates which included replicating the Garden of Eden throughout the earth as well as taking care of the Garden itself.  Where did the Serpent find Adam and Eve at the end of one thousand years?  Where did God find the people after the flood of Noah?  They had been commanded to spread throughout the earth (Genesis 9:1), but did they?  No, they all gathered around Babylon (Genesis 11:1-4).  It would appear that at best Adam was slow to obey God.  Have any of us ever been there and done that?  This slowness to obey (always a problem) was a developing rebellion culminating in the Day of Sin and Death (Genesis 3:6).  During the thousand-year reign of Christ although He is ruling in absolute righteousness and us with Him there is sin, there is rebellion in the earth by mankind deceived again by Satan which again culminates in a final rebellion led by Satan at the end of this seventh time-frame.  Concerning this thousand-year reign of Christ and rebellion consider the following Scripture.

Zechariah 14:16-18 (KJV)

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

A general spiritual law to take away from this Scripture is that a failure to worship brings famine.  There are many of you who are calling the Sunday morning song service worship but have famine in your lives.  Why?  I hope I have given us all some food for thought until next Sunday.

Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving.  This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
