TIME FRAME SIX
THE CATCHING AWAY TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Greetings my dear partners and friends and greetings and welcome even those who brought a religious spirit to this Bible Study. A warm welcome to one and all. How good and gracious is our God!? For those of you who see these teachings as fantasy or a run-away imagination, please go forward for prayer at Church today. Better yet repent and ask the Lord to teach you how to open your imagination to all He wants you to see, it will bring joy unspeakable and full of glory. Hopefully there will be no need today for fire extinguishers, buckets of water, or pitchforks (especially the pitchforks). By way of review, I am still talking about the sixth time-frame. The following is a list of where we have been and where we are going. By the way, I am looking forward to putting this all into a book with additional revelation from God later this year. Yes, God is still revealing things unseen before, He is still giving revelation and will do so for eternity.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
I have been talking about the Rapture of the Church and the magnificent transformation, transfiguration, that takes place in all of us who are of this age in Christ Jesus. Suddenly this curse ravaged body will be like His in an instant of time. There will be differences in the appearance of Jesus and our appearance but these will be in the area of those things that signify rank. Remember He is King of kings, and He is the High Priest. We are kings and we are priests and will have those markings but of a lesser rank. He is the Son of man but all of us sons of men. He is the Son of God (first born from the dead) and we are sons of God. So, let us look at this picture of Jesus as if looking in the mirror.
Revelation 1:13-15 (KJV)
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
There is a very famous song and movie titled, “We Can Only Imagine” but you and I have been given revelation, insight, like no other. These things are in our mind but they are more solid, an image of the real, than a flight of fancy which is uninformed by the Word and Holy Spirit.
While the Tribulation rages in the earth we in Heaven will all individually appear at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Romans 14:10 (KJV)
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
A question I want to introduce is with regard to the timing of this judgment, the bema (elevated platform upon which Jesus sits during the judgment of the saints) of Christ. I bring this up because the full effect of our work is not known until the very end of the Tribulation period. If Jesus tarries and does not come for two more centuries there may be people saved due to our intercession today and our obedience to the Word. He is faithful to a thousand generations. The following verse suggests that this occurs at and immediately following the Catching Away which is at the front-end of the Tribulation or even before its onset.
Revelation 22:12 (KJV)
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
At this time, we will face our Lord and Savior and give an account for what we did in the flesh. Those things which we did in obedience to Him will stand as silver, gold, and precious stones but those things we did on our own will be burned as wood, hay and stubble.
1 Corinthians 3:11-15 (KJV)
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
The things which we say that the Father did not tell us to say, the things we did that the Father did not tell us to do, the things we did in our own power and not that of the Father are wood, hay, and stubble and will be burned up. I don’t know about you but I want a pile of silver, gold, and precious stones left at my feet after my trip to the Bema of Christ. The silver, gold, and precious stones are the true treasure that we lay up in Heaven whereas the wood, hay, and stubble are our works that looked good, sounded good, perhaps others were doing, and we even had a Scripture but God was not in those works because He never asked us to do that particular thing.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
