LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART TWENTY-TWO

TIME FRAME FOUR
Genesis 3:6 to Hebrews 1:3
Greetings and welcome back to part twenty-two of this wonderful study about life in Heaven. Today and each one of these teachings I will be speaking by the leadership of Holy Spirit to complete Time Frame Four and move us into Time Frame Five and beyond. As you will recall the Lord has led me to divide this study into eight time-frames. These are; the eternity before Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:1 – 1:2, Genesis 1:3 – 3:6, Genesis 3:6 – Hebrews 1:3, The Cross and Resurrection to the Rapture, Rapture to the Second Coming, the Millennial Reign, and Eternity Future. From time to time as this topic comes up in conversation with believers or others I find that Heaven is a great mystery and that should not be. Perhaps the most common question that comes up has to do with will we know each other in Heaven. One person even ventured to say that perhaps not because that would distract us from our worship of God. Everyone seems to agree that Heaven is way more desirable than Hell but still really don’t know what to expect. The source of this ignorance is slackness on the individual believers’ part and a lack of teaching in the Church by the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers. Precious saints of God, life in Heaven includes worship of God but is far more. Life in Heaven is much like here in the earth, after all the earth is a mirror image of Heaven, but Heaven is pure untainted by the curse, and without a deceiver.
Life in Heaven from Genesis 3:7 until Jesus brings His blood to the Mercy Seat of Heaven was wonderful but it did not have the family that the Father (since the Word became flesh in Mary’s womb) wanted and would have. The Father was determined to have a family, a people that would choose to love Him and He had a wonderful plan. He wanted that people to be Adam and their descendants but they failed. God however did not fail, He had a redemptive plan and it was activated immediately demonstrating the love and mercy of our God. Now in this fourth time period commonly referred to as the Old Testament period who is in Heaven? Jehovah, the One we now call Father was in Heaven. The Word, who is now called Jesus, was there except for when Jehovah (LORD) would send the Word of the LORD to various peoples and prophets. And, Holy Spirit was predominately in Heaven at least from a functional manifestation sense. Holy Spirit was not available to the people at large due to sin and the lack of an adequate payment for that sin. Additionally, there were two men that God chose to bring to Heaven for His purposes and I suspect fellowship (Enoch and Elijah). Keep in mind that just because we only know about Enoch and Elijah that does not preclude others having being taken to Heaven out of time.
Then at the transition from the Old to the New there was a great and wonderful influx of those people who were previously in Paradise or Abraham’s Bosom. Now these peoples (spirits) held in Abraham’s Bosom awaiting the coming of the Messiah are born again and they were resurrected right along with Christ Jesus. That is to say they were made whole spirit, soul, and body (flesh and bone) at that time. These Old Testament saints held in Abraham’s Bosom, the Church, and those who receive Jesus during the Tribulation are all part of the first resurrection. As you can see there are three waves of the First Resurrection which is the resurrection of the saints. There is a Second Resurrection which is for the wicked (Revelation Chapter Twenty. Now, let us move into the fifth time-frame which is the time in which we now live.
TIME FRAME FIVE
Ephesians 4:8 to 1 Thessalonians 4:16 – 17
JESUS BLOOD ON THE MERCY SEAT TO THE CATCHING AWAY
This time frame is what is commonly referred to as the Church age. Some might refer to this time period as the New Testament period however that would not be fully correct since this New Covenant (Testament) is eternal. This Covenant sealed with the Blood of Jesus does not end as did the Old Covenant sealed in animal blood. So, now who do we find in Heaven? Heaven now has the Father, the Son, (the Holy Spirit is in the earth) there are multitudes of angels of all types and ranks, the resurrected saints of the Old Covenant that were housed in Paradise until the Messiah shed His Blood and preached the gospel in Paradise. These (Old Testament Saints) went to Heaven with Him and were sprinkled in Heaven with the Blood of Jesus just as Moses had sprinkled the people in the earth with the blood of animals. This is of course not a static situation and we will discuss that much more. There are a great number of magnificent mansions, the environment is pure, and magnificent landscapes are everywhere one turns their gaze. There is no death there and there is no waste there, human or otherwise.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
