AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

MORE WOE
Greetings dear and precious saints of God, beloved by the Father, and welcome back to this encouraging, instructive, and thereby empowering Word of the Lord (Bible teaching). Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible expanding the reach of the Truth, the very best news anyone, anywhere, can ever receive. The featured picture was taken and graciously provided by Heather Wood our granddaughter in law on an adventure when she, our grandson, and their four beautiful children evacuated New Orleans for the Hurricane Ida. The idea dear ones are not to just accumulate information, a store of knowledge, but to incorporate that knowledge into our thoughts, words, expressions, and actions becoming more and more like Him until we are just like Him (Jesus). There is a great lie in the Church and that is that we can never be like Jesus. They say we are always going to have junk, ungodly stuff, in our lives, and sin, until the day we die or He catches us away. What a lie, what an abomination, what an abrogation (annulment) of the Word of God! Well, that is going to be a shock to Jesus who is the Word. There are many places we can go but what about the verse I quote all the time in this blog?
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Would being perfect (pure, completely His, without sin) include the works that Jesus did? What about the next verse?
1 John 4:17 (KJV)
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
Do we believe that as He is right now at the right Hand of the Father so are we in this present world? Do we believe that or relegate it to something we can’t be and don’t understand, and can’t understand until we get over there? So, let’s get about the Master’s business and quit our playing at being a Christian and be a Christian (like Jesus). We are too entangled with the world dear ones. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud. The Bible does not say anywhere that we increase faith by reading silently or looking but by hearing the Word of God. We can’t please God without faith so let’s quit playing at this thing and get it on.
Isaiah 5:20-23 (KJV)
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
This passage should be most apparent even to least spiritual among us even some of the heathen. A major problem is that many in the Church vote for and hang out with people who do the things spoken of in this passage. They vote for people who support the murder of our unborn children. This makes you a murderer dear ones and their blood is crying out from the ground for justice. God is a God of justice and justice will come dear ones. I suggest you drop to your knees right now in heartfelt repentance. The way out of spiritual judgement is always repentance. What do you think about the following passage? Is it Bible, is it the Truth?
2 John 1:9-11 (KJV)
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Is calling good evil and light darkness part of the doctrine of Christ? What about murdering persons in the womb? Is God a God of life or death? Christ is all about life, He is the giver of life, without Him life does not exist. This does not just apply to the political arena although that is a big one. What about those homosexual, transgender friends you hang out with or those who wholeheartedly support abortion? This is not to say that we are to have no contact with those contrary to God, contrary to us. Contact on some level is essential to demonstrate a much better way. Silence is approval. Many that are completely immersed in Satan’s deceptions (he is all about death) present themselves as so enlightened (wise) and sensible. When all the time they are fools and woe is on the way to their door. Consider the following passage as I end for today.
Psalm 53:1-3 (KJV)
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
To go back, one must have gone forward, this is the backslider. When we ignore the Word of God going our own way, we are now our god and saying there is no higher god. What a terrible place to find ourselves.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
