REPENT OF WHAT? PART THREE
Sunday – June 7, 2020, Sivan 15, 5780

Greetings dear and precious brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of God and welcome back to this Sunday series about the need for each of us individually and the Church to repent. Repent for diluting and corrupting the Word of God then preaching and teaching it as the Truth. The first clue that the Truth is not being preached is the absence of the Power of God.
John 3:34 (KJV)
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
Is this the Word of God or not? Whomever God sends, not self-sent, and speaks the words of God, not his/her own, will have the Spirit without measure. Suppose that was just for the first century or is this for us today? It is for today! God does not change, He is not an on again, off again kind of God.
Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Are these Scriptures still true? The key for the unlimited flow of the Holy Spirit of course is in the verse (John 3:34). One must be sent of God, and must speak what God gives them to speak. When these two criterion are met then the Spirit is given without measure. Is this something for which we should repent?
Mark 16:15-20 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Was this just for the first century Church to get them off to a good start? Of course not! This is for believers not some special group of super Christians. Why are we slack? We may have reasons but we have no excuse and there will be no acceptable excuse on that day when we stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Should we judge ourselves and repent now? It seems like Pastor and pew alike think that perhaps someone else has things to repent of, especially the heathen, but not them. Well, it seems that is just not the case. Think about the children of Israel just two years after coming out of slavery in Egypt. This is a picture of us in sin, in darkness, the kingdom of darkness coming out to enter the promised land. They had a promised land and did not enter due to unbelief. We have not entered our promised land either and it is due to unbelief. We have a whole Book of Covenant promises that for the most part for most of us remains untouched. Let’s review their story for it is our story. We see that God promised and gave the land of Canaan to the Jewish people some 430 years before.
Genesis 15:18 (KJV)
18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
Some 400 plus years later, Moses sent spies into the land and here is the evil report they brought back.
Numbers 13:27 (KJV)
27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
Numbers 13:32-33 (KJV)
32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Seems like the Church sees giants everywhere and they are just two much for us. If they had taken God at His Word the giants would have been easy to defeat. If we today will take God at His Word our giants including Coronavirus and any governmental threats would be easily handled, they would bow at our feet. Instead we are talking lawsuits and defiance of the law blatantly violating Romans 13. They were in unbelief and wandered in the wilderness until that generation died off and a new generation went into the promised land. What about now? Any reason to repent?
Hebrews 3:17-19 (KJV)
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
We have not entered our Promised Land for the same reason, unbelief. Yes, there is reason to repent!
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
