THE BLIND AND THE DEAF
Greetings dear children of our Heavenly Father and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. We are pursuing the Truths of this wonderful Bible Book with all of our hearts. This is not to be a casual information gathering time but a time when we make His thoughts ours, His Words ours, and His ways ours. I know many of us have been told over and over (sometimes with great conviction) that His ways are not our ways and so on but dear ones that is not what the full counsel of Scripture tells us who worship God. We will cover this in great detail when we get to Isaiah chapter 55 but suffice to say now, He made us in His image, His likeness, and of the same kind (God class) to have His thoughts, His Words, and do things His way.
I will once again pick up on a common Bible Truth and one I bring to our remembrance and hopefully practice often. God delegated His authority in the earth to mankind from the very beginning. God will not, for it would violate the law He established, do anything in the earth except through a person, period. It is not Bible that God goes throughout the earth just doing anything and everything He wants. He has delegated all authority in the earth to us, His children, to be discharged according to His will (it’s in the Bible, it’s all through the Bible). When will we in our personal life, our family life, our community, and nation exercise our God given authority? Have you wondered why things are going from bad to worse? We, the people of God, the ones with the authority to bind wickedness and loose righteousness have been sitting on our hands begging God to do our part. Not going to happen dear ones. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:8-11 (KJV)
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Oh my, the Lord is making an argument for His being the only real God. He says, you are a people with ears and eyes but you are totally deaf and blind to Me. Who do you have that can testify that they declared the things that have happened before they happened? He answers His own question, no one except Me and my Prophets. As we examine the tenth verse, we might be led to think there was a beginning of God and there will be an end but that would be great error. Let’s look at the verse in The Living Bible.
Isaiah 43:10 (TLB)
10 “But I have witnesses, O Israel,” says the Lord! “You are my witnesses and my servants, chosen to know and to believe me and to understand that I alone am God. There is no other God; there never was and never will be.
Dear ones it is vital to understand that there are only two kingdoms in the earth. Those are the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. We are now in one of these kingdoms and at our physical death will enter either Heaven or Hell. There is no third option. There is no such thing as we live and at death we are no more. From the moment of our conception, we became eternal creatures. We choose our life, who our god will be now and later. I hope you have chosen the God of the Bible by accepting, choosing Jesus not only as Savior but as Lord (one of highest authority in your life). If you have not chosen Him you are not just out there being your own man so to speak, you are duped of the devils, you are following their lead, and you are on your way to Hell. Apart from God, from Jesus, there is no freedom, no safety, and no help.
