THE THREE MINUTE WORD

I AM THE LORD
Greetings dear children of our Heavenly Father and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. It is Thursday so the featured picture is of Donna and me at a recent special meeting. God is so good dear ones. We are pursuing the Truths of this wonderful Bible Book with all of our hearts. This is not to be a casual information gathering time but a time when we make His thoughts ours, His Words ours, and His ways ours. I know you have been told over and over perhaps that His ways are not our ways and so on but dear ones that is not what the full counsel of Scripture tells us who worship God. We will cover this in great detail when we get to Isaiah chapter 55 but suffice to say now, He made us in His image, His likeness, and of the same kind (God class) to have His thoughts, His Words, and do things His way. At this time, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text from this wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 43:11-15 (KJV)
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
14 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
We ended yesterday with verse eleven and the Truth that without the God of the Bible we are without hope, freedom, safety, or help. That my friend is a fearful place to be when hope, freedom, safety, and help are readily available now and forever. Just receive Jesus as Lord and Savior not as a rote prayer but a conviction of the heart.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
By the way, remember that the number eleven has to do with coming into alignment with God (God of the Bible). As we move into verse twelve it appears in the King James Version that His declaring, saving, and showing are past tense however that is not the case. If you study the tense of these words it is continuously past, present, and future. Our loving Heavenly Father, even the three persons of the co-equal Triune God, agreed together on a plan of redemption if mankind sinned.
Revelation 13:8-9 (KJV)
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Please do not misunderstand me. Mankind was not made to fail however given freewill and a tempter it was possible and provision was put in place. Love, the free choice of obedience is not possible with a choice. Man was given the choice to love God or chose to serve the devil, they and we too often make the wrong choice. When I say “we” I am talking about you and me. As we reflect on verse thirteen we see Him saying that once we are in His Hand there is no one who can remove us from His Hand. To be in His Hand we must be submitted to Him. His Hand is the Holy Spirit. See this verse in the Amplified Bible and then listen to the Savior (you are reading out loud).
Isaiah 43:13 (AMP)
13 Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand. I will work, and who can hinder or reverse it?
John 10:27-29 (KJV)
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
Notice that staying in His Hand, having eternal life, and not perishing is our choice. What are the stated prerequisites? We must be attentive to hear and follow. Sounds a lot like Deuteronomy 28:1 don’t you think?
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. (Bold added)
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
