AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE CITIES ARE BURNING WITH FIRE
Greetings to all the children of God the Father, brethren of the First Born for the dead (Christ), and empowered by the Holy Spirit. God is so good dear ones and He is nothing but good. Well, today is day three and final day for the moving company to pack us up for the move to San Antonio Texas. We are excited and eager for the move however the things to do and coordinate at times seems daunting. We know within ourselves this is right; First and foremost, it is the will of God. People ask what we will be doing there. Of course, we will be doing life much like people everywhere. We will be getting established in a local Church. This Ministry will continue as is (I think) for the time being. The Lord has brought to mind several times in this process His call for Abram to move. He (God) told Abram to leave where he was and go to Canaan. He was to leave what was familiar and established, his family and go alone (with Sarah). Let’s look at this for a moment. Perhaps all of us will receive some light. Listen carefully to the following, hopefully familiar, Scripture.
Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
We generally talk about this passage with regard to the Blessing, praying for and blessing (materially) Israel, and the coming Messiah. However, I want to draw your attention to the phrase “into a land that I will shew thee” in verse one. It wasn’t that Abram didn’t know anything about Canaan but he just didn’t know the details of going there. However, God did tell Abram that he would become widely known there, and be a blessing. Likewise, we don’t know the details of why we are moving to San Antonio Texas (moving back for me, first time for Donna) but we know it is right and there He will bless us and we will be a blessing. Yesterday I shared a portion of a Prophetic Word I (we) received recently in San Antonio, Texas. As you recall, God said: “It’s time to move”. I don’t know about you but that seems rather clear to me. He also said this is a time of growth for me (us) and “It’s going to be good for you, it’ll be good for those around you”. God is no respecter of persons. I see a great similarity between what God said to Abram and what He is saying to us? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in Isaiah.
Isaiah 1:5-7 (KJV)
5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
This text is referring to God’s own people, review verse three.
Isaiah 1:3 (KJV)
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. (bold added)
I know we would like to think this is referring only to an ancient time and the awful condition they had chosen to become. Yes, whatever our condition we have chosen it by our thoughts, words, and actions. That is an inconvenient Truth. Have you seen any news reports of anarchy in our cities and cities burning with fire? This particular use of the word “fire” is referring to the great wickedness that is consuming our cities. This wickedness is displacing righteousness and we, the Church, have just stepped aside and given the devil free reign. Where are the five-fold Ministers to lead into this battle where the outcome has already been determined. However, no battle is won without engagement.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
