AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE END OF DAYS
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. O how wonderful the Holy Scriptures are and to know they are reliable for our lives now and for eternity. Everything else is a façade. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth beyond our reach alone. The featured picture today is of Donna and me during a recent trip (January) to the Leander Church of God (a wonderful day in the Lord, in the Spirit). Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the marvelous Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 40:9-11 (KJV)
9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
As we focus on verse ten once again, I want to drive home the Truth that you and me, the body of Christ, are the strong hand, the arm that shall rule for Him. Of course, we will have the backing of the holy Angels and the Holy Spirit. This is no different than right now! We have the responsibility to rule in this earth, occupy, for we have all authority, and God is providing the backup Power (Angels and Holy Spirit). There will be a brief period when we are removed with the Holy Spirit in manifestation from the earth known as the Tribulation. However, as I have been laying out previously this week, we (the body of Christ) are coming back to rule and reign with Christ Jesus.
Revelation 20:5-7 (KJV)
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Just to be sure we have an orderly picture of what I have been talking about this week let me lay out a time line. We are now in what is commonly referred to as the Church Age which started with the Resurrection of Christ and will end with the Rapture. There is the Rapture followed by the Tribulation Period, seven years. At the end of the Tribulation, Israel will turn to Messiah, Jesus (The Messiah) returns with us and perhaps angelic armies to rule the earth once the battle of Armageddon is settled. By the way the winner is not in question, it is Christ Jesus! The Devil, the demons, the beast and false prophet are all into the Lake of Fire. At the end of the 1000 years Satan is again loosed and again deceives the nations. Once again, all the heathen gathers against Jerusalem and God’s people. This time fire from Heaven consumes all His and our adversaries and Satan is thrown once and for all into the Lake of Fire.
Revelation 20:7-10 (KJV)
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
From here we go to the White Throne Judgment which is for the judging of the lost, the heathen.
Revelation 20:11-12 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And, finally, all things will be made new, O what a day!
Revelation 21:1-5 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
