AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Sunday – December 20, 2020, Tevet 5, 5781
THE GREATER THINGS – PART SEVENTEEN
Greetings to the faithful friends and partners of Eastern Gate Ministries International Inc and followers of The Three Minute Word. Please take just a moment to share this Bible teaching as widely as possible. It is our responsibility to disseminate the Truth, many will reject it, the light, turning back to the darkness with which they have become comfortable but others will leap for joy and receive it. Welcome back to this wonderful unraveling of the will of God for each and every one of our lives. Our lives are not to be ones of hanging on for dear life until the devil takes us out or the Rapture occurs. The devil has no authority to take anyone out (kill) saved or unsaved, we choose. God does not kill anyone, we in one way or another choose the quality and end of life. All too many think and talk themselves to death, literally.
Wow, is this year rushing by or what? Thanksgiving is behind and Christmas and the New Year loom large ahead. There a lot of fatigue with COVID-19 which leads to irrational thought and actions, emotion driven thoughts, words, and actions, and less knowledge driven thoughts, words, and actions. An emotion driven life will be a life of disaster after disaster and one of general failure not success. Successful people in the world understand this! Wakey, wakey Church! The Church is all about touchy feely. What was one of the most prominent cries from the pulpit and the pew when the Church and other gathering places were shut down? It wasn’t to gather to hear and grow in the Word of God but to sing and hug each other. In short, a social club. No wonder we are called nonessential and entertainment, not much different than a gathering of a local club. In that mindset, neither will the works of Jesus get done nor the greater works.
One of the things the Lord has shown me clearly is that in this pandemic I and others have allowed emotion and peer pressure to bring us into poor judgement. This is a deception of the enemy, guard against it. For example, one might say, “well they are not wearing a mask so I don’t need to either”. Does that make sense? Concerning masks, the majority of our protection is not our mask but the other persons’ mask. People not wearing a mask are showing a disregard for the safety of other people and are not loving their neighbor. Avoid such.
COVID-19 is still with us and don’t be expecting it to go away soon. The traditional organized Church has not positioned itself to bring healing to the land so the healing awaits the attaining of a critical mass with the rising remnant. Since election day we have been witnessing the greatest unfolding of the humiliation of the evil spiritual forces and those who do their beckoning. Donna and I believe God and His Prophets. Now let’s turn our attention to our King concerning the command to do the works He did and the greater works.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
I hope that all are aware this is not a lone Scripture but is a common theme throughout all 66 Books of the Bible since it is central to the will of God. Now, let’s turn our attention once again to our Isaiah passage.
Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
I hope that we are all aware, familiar with the works of Jesus seen throughout the Gospels. Jesus focused on preaching the Kingdom of God and making the Kingdom of God a reality in peoples lives. Jesus in many ways proclaimed and demonstrated that mankind (condition since the fall) no longer needs to be poor in any aspect of life subject to the curse. We can let broken heartedness go, we can walk free of Satan’s captivity, freedom rings for those bound by the addictions and lusts of the curse. We now have full entry out of that dark kingdom into the Kingdom of God. Let’s give a shout of victory!

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
