AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE LAW OF OUR GOD
Greetings precious saints of the only living God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word and our study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. What a rich and wonderful Book. The featured picture is taken from our Wedding Photos, I think I may have been misbehaving in this picture. Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible. Share these teachings especially with those who you know to be hungering and thirsting after the Word, the Kingdom, and righteousness (not only right standing but doing things His way, the right way). You might be surprised to know that many in the body of Christ are not hungering and thirsting for Him. Jesus said you shall know them by their fruit. Those hungering and thirsting for Him, who are focused on the spiritual things (Kingdom of God, ways of God) have life and peace. Those who are hungering and thirsting after the carnal or natural things of life, giving them preeminence, will have death in their lives.
Romans 8:6 (KJV)
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
The word minded in this verse has to do with our focus. The right order in our lives, our thinking, makes all the difference in our lives and the lives of those around us. Notice the order in the following verse, however, I hope you don’t think this is a verse in isolation, the whole of Scripture teaches this.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
There you have it, from the mouth of our Lord Himself. Now let’s turn our attention to the Bible Book of Isaiah and read our primary text aloud, yes, out loud. Faith comes by hearing, not seeing.
Isaiah 1:10-13 (KJV)
10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Not only do the natural rulers and the spiritual rulers (the Prophets of God) of America need to hear but so do the people of America. The people of America are the just and unjust alike. Listen to what is written in the Bible Book of Ezra.
Ezra 7:25-26 (KJV)
25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.
26 And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
Does this still apply or is it just interesting reading? Of course, it applies! Arise o sons of God! Listen to President James Garfield.
When giving his centennial address to Congress in 1876, President James Garfield issued the following warning: “Now, more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature…If the next centennial does not find us a great nation…it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”
Have we the people, particularly the Church, the Anointed body of Christ with all authority and Power in the earth abdicated to the unrighteous? As I end for the week listen to Jesus.
Matthew 7:15-20 (KJV)
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
So, what fruit has the Church born in the governance of this Covenant nation? There is much good fruit, righteous men and women in our government but the balance favors the unrighteous bringing forth evil fruit.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
