THE MORNING COMETH

Greetings dear friends, and partners, of this Ministry and who follow my blog, The Three Minute Word. As you know we are in the midst of the wonderful Book of Isaiah and will be continuing today. Before I go further, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means at your disposal. God is good, nothing but good and has a wonderful plan for now and forever. The other guy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) in our lives. The good news concerning him (the stealer, the killer, the destroyer) is that in Christ Jesus we are far superior to him and not many days hence he is out of here forever.
Revelation 20:10 (KJV)
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Thought you might even want to see the actual Scripture and perhaps even point it out to the devils and roll on the floor in laughter. On the other hand, our future is much different (dramatic understatement).
Revelation 22:1-5 (KJV)
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
The Father has now given His sons the job Lucifer used to occupy. We “shall reign for ever and ever” with Him and there will be no curse, and hindering demons, just unopposed sailing. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading out loud. Yes, out loud. How does faith come? Can we please God without faith? Okay, read out loud!
Isaiah 21:11-12 (KJV)
11 The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
12 The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.
The proper name “Dumah” in our text is a symbolic name of Edom, indicating death and destruction according to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – Old Testament. You will recall that Edom originated from Esau the twin of Jacob, children of Isaac and Rebekah. Edom is east of the Negev (of Israel) and is a part of the modern nation of Jordan. Within Edom is the place called Petra. Petra is the place it is believed that believing Jews will escape to from the antichrist during the Great Tribulation. At this time Edom was in a bad place calling out asking how much longer. The watchman, Prophet, answers that morning to coming but the night will return soon as well. Most if not all people have been thru a nighttime in their lives. A repentance and change of direction (essential) bring the morning but if we are not diligent it is not long and we again find ourselves in a nighttime season. Staying in the Blessing is easy and hard at the same time. If we do the Word of God, only the Word of God, we can continuously walk in the Blessing. That is not to say the curse does not present itself and threaten us but we can recognize it and it flees. Let’s once again review what I hope are very familiar verses that tell us simply the road of victory or defeat.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Let us each one guard ourselves and not turn aside to other words to follow other gods.
Deuteronomy 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
One might exclaim, “I have not turned aside to other words and I am not serving other gods!” One might observe and ask why the curse is rampant in their lives? What brings the morning? Repentance and a return to the Word of God.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
