THE PLACE OF SAFETY – PART TWENTY-NINE

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only living God. Are we focused of Him, His Word, or are we focused on our own reasoning (what seems possible to us) and the ways of the world (what they say is possible)? As you ponder these questions please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry. God is so good dear ones. Just a reminder dear ones, this is the next to last Saturday publication, next Saturday the 19th will be the final edition for the time being. You will of course be seeing The Three Minute Word the other six days of the week as usual, a book will be forthcoming, and we will be making some booklets available at intervals. Before we delve into todays teaching let me again strongly encourage each one to seek with all your heart the Lord and His Word and listen intently to His voice. Listen to the Prophets of God! Significant events like the world has not seen are at the door. Now, lets again focus on “The Place of Safety” which is only in Him. As our primary Bible text for today let’s go to the following hopefully familiar passage in Isaiah. Read it aloud, yes, out loud.
Isaiah 54:14-17 (KJV)
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
As I start let me ask a probing question. Why do we take the words of the Prophets written centuries ago as the Word of God but not the Words spoken and/or written by the Prophet down the street today? Afterall much of the Bible is written by Gods’ Prophets. Are the Words God speaking through His Prophets today lesser Words or less reliable Words? Doesn’t the Word of God, written by the Prophet Amos, tell us that God does nothing without His Prophets announcing it?
Amos 3:7 (KJV)
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
We apparently don’t believe this today. Prophets have been booted out of most Churches. This is wrong. God is about to vindicate (defend, prove, uphold, prove correct) His Prophets big time. You may find it useful to get my Booklet, available upon request, titled “Prophetic Voice in the Land”. So, let’s take a look at what the Prophet Isaiah wrote or had written as the Lord our God and his God spoke to him. Verse fourteen of our text starts off telling us that in order to be established in God we have to do things His way. We know if that is the case or not by the presence or absence of oppression, fear, or terror (lack of security). Who are the “they” in the fifteenth verse? Seems it is oppression, fear, and terror. These are evil spirit personalities. None of these are the work of God. So, who is the source of these spiritual forces? The thief (John 10:10)! This verse ends telling us that these forces fall for our sake. Of course, this is not automatic, it is predicated (based) upon our doing things His way (righteousness). The sixteenth verse seems to say that God created a destroyer (Satan and his bunch). However, if you closely study you will see that the wording is not past tense. Lucifer who became Satan, the destroyer, was created perfect but choose a path of wickedness.
Ezekiel 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
As we finish for this week and examine verse seventeen, we again run into the requirement for righteousness (doing things His way). Notice that in verse fourteen and in verse seventeen we choose to be righteous or not (do things His way or not). In our righteousness we defeat the weapons formed against us and the tongues that rise against us we declare wrong (condemn).
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
