THEY SHALL NOT LABOR IN VAIN

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this illuminating and empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. We are such a loved and blessed peoples. It is in many ways beyond the scope of our current languages in the earth to describe His love, His blessing, His goodness (glory) towards all, especially those of the household of faith. Dear ones when we were born again, we changed kingdoms and we are no longer to live by the dictates of the world. We have different laws, obligations and benefits the world does not and cannot enjoy. The featured picture today is of the State House, Capitol building in Montpelier Vermont. This of course is to remind us to pray for our government, all that are in authority. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 65:20-25 (NKJV)
20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD, And their offspring with them.
24 “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” Says the LORD.
We are now coming into a passage of Scripture which will sound very familiar and should. We left off talking yesterday how longevity, life span, in the Millennial Reign of Christ will be better for both saint and sinner alike. Having said that, let me pose another question for your consideration. Can people be saved during the Millennial Reign of Christ? If they can be saved, are they instantly transformed as we were at the Rapture (Catching Away) or does that occur at some future time like at the White Throne Judgment? As we examine verses 21, 22, 23 we are instantly reminded of Deuteronomy. Of course, the Christian does not have to wait until the Millennial Reign of Christ for this to be a reality, it belongs to the saint of God now.
Hebrews 4:2-6 (KJV)
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Why didn’t this ancient people enter the Promised Land? Unbelief! The exact same reason the children of God today have not entered into the Promises of God.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
