Greetings dear and precious children of God and thank you for rejoining this illuminating Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good dear ones. He has given us His Book to guide our steps for health and prosperity in every arena of life so that we can have maximal effectiveness in our Kingdom of God work. Dear ones it is so important that we run our race until all given for us to do of the Father in the Kingdom of God is done.

Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 55:8-11 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
We now come to an oft quoted and discussed portion of Scripture. First, we will tackle the idea of thoughts. Thoughts for the most part are imaginations, pictures in our mind and then in our physical brain. The brain is part of the physical body which does the biding of the mind. The mind is a part of the soul, the immaterial or spiritual part of us. Some have a revelation of this being in the fourth dimension. In this realm all possibilities exist. Thoughts cause physical changes in our brains which impact our bodies in a positive or negative way. Our predispositions whether it be for particular diseases in the family line or behaviors are not our destiny. The thoughts of God have no adverse consequences and the thoughts of evil have nothing but adverse consequences. Given this information, whose thoughts should we renew our minds to?
Now, let’s take a look at this word “thoughts” translated from the Hebrew as maḥashābâ according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. This word is a feminine noun meaning a thought, a purpose, a device, an intention, inventions that spring from such thoughts. It denotes the thoughts of the mind, either belonging to people (1 Chr. 28:9; Ps. 94:11); or God (Jer. 29:11; Mic. 4:12); the plans or intentions that arise from these thoughts according to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – Old Testament. Tomorrow, we will spend a little time with words and ways.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember the Lord loves you, has a wonderful plan for us all, walk with Him. As an aside, He is not going to come and walk with you, you must choose to walk with Him. I know we sing the song “Walk with Me” when it should be I want to walk with you. He is on the wonderful path chosen for you, He is not getting off that path and walking on the path you or I have chosen.
