THOUGHTS AND WAYS
Video link: https://youtu.be/zdQ5CNg_iNo
Greetings dear and precious children of God and thank you for rejoining this illuminating Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good dear ones. He has given us His Book to guide our steps for health and prosperity in every arena of life so that we can have maximal effectiveness in our Kingdom of God work. Dear ones it is so important that we run our race until all given for us to do of the Father in the Kingdom of God is done.
Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for valuing these teachings enough to share them.
The featured picture today is provided by Joe Getchell Jr a faithful man of God. Thank you, Joe, for the beautiful picture.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 55:8-11 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Dear ones, I know I have been spending a lot of time concerning thoughts but each of our thought lives direct our lives, we are where we are today totally due to our thought lives. God was only involved to the extent that we gave His Word first place in our thoughts, what we really believed. Many times, what we really believe and what we tell the Pastor or others around us are two vastly different things. We learn “Church talk”. Our thought life and the Word of God must become congruent (matching, harmonious). One more thing I want to point out that is ours progressively as we follow hard after Christ. We have the mind of Christ!
1 Corinthians 2:16 (KJV)
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
And, how did we get the “mind of Christ”? We got it by meditating on the Word of God, day and night. We are thinking about something day and night, lets discipline ourselves to think on the Word of God. The Holy Spirit comes to live in us at the very moment of salvation. We have access to the mind of the Spirit which is the same as Jesus and our Heavenly Father. What is not known to God? By extension, what can become known to us? Anything and everything we have a foundation to see.
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We are transformed into the stature of Jesus as the Word of God renews our mind, displacing the trash of the demons. Notice the word “prove” in Romans 12:2, it means to discern and allow. We all want to know the will of God and we can, but it won’t just fall on us. The thing I want us to think about is the “allow” aspect. Are there times when we know the will of God but we don’t do it, we don’t allow it? Our thoughts lead to our ways. We can have the ways of God but only as we think the thoughts of God. If your religious mindset is rising up in rebellion go back and study the last several days on this and believe the Scripture. The controversy is not with me, it is with God.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, the Lord is good, really good, He is not making people sick so He can heal them or poor like a “good Christian”.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
