Greetings dear and precious children of God and thank you for rejoining this illuminating Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good dear ones. He has given us His Book to guide our steps for health and prosperity in every arena of life so that we can have maximal effectiveness in our Kingdom of God work. Dear ones it is so important that we run our race until all given for us to do of the Father in the Kingdom of God is done.
Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for valuing these teachings enough to share them.

Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 55:8-11 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Today we will be moving forward into verse ten. Have you noticed that many examples in the Old and New Testaments are agricultural in nature? In the time of the writing of Scripture it was a highly agricultural society so these examples of how things worked in the natural were really illuminating for the spiritual Truths. As we study these verses also remember the Parable of the Sower from Jesus’ Ministry. The Seed is the Word of God and the ground is our heart, the spiritual, immaterial part of us. Water is the Word of God that causes us to grow spiritually (if received, believed, and acted upon) and natural water makes natural things to grow as well. At the end of verse ten we find the following phrase “that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater”. When a crop comes forth there is seed for another planting and there is product for eating or monetizing. The Apostle Paul refers to this process in the following passage talking about sowing and reaping in the Kingdom of God.
2 Corinthians 9:10-11 (AMP)
10 And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].
11 Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.
Here is the thing about the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Many in the body of Christ just plain don’t believe this law because they have not seen it work. Others believe it, but have not seen it produce in their own lives. They keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result and of course that different result does not come. Let’s go back to the agricultural example. Does a farmer just throw out some seed and expect a great harvest. Of course not! There has to be preparation of the ground. In our case this is a preparation of our heart to receive the seed (Word of God). Then the number of seed sown is proportional to the harvest expected. Then there is a season of waiting. Does the harvest for the farmer just put itself in the barn? Of course not! You will be required to harvest and this is the hardest or work intensive part. Are you open to avenues for the Lord to bring the harvest or do we have a mailbox or front porch mentality.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, the Lord is good, nothing but good, open no doors to the devils for our sin opens the door for their evil.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
