THE FOURTH DIMENSION

Greetings dear saints and pre-saints and welcome back to this exciting Bible study of the Prophetic and instructive Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good to give us a light for His path for us. He does not come and walk with us; we must choose to join Him on the path He has prepared for us.

The picture today is an artist’s depiction of a four-dimensional object. The third dimension is the cubic (height, length, and depth + time) world in which we live physically but we also exist in the fourth dimension. More below.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, you know why.
Isaiah 55:10-13 (KJV)
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
As we continue in verse twelve, we come to some very interesting Scripture talking about mountains singing and trees clapping. I have never seen this and my guess is that you have never seen this. Since this is the Word of God and we know it to be the Truth what might be the explanation. In the body of Christ, we often speak of the spirit realm, the unseen realm to the natural eye or measuring instruments. We speak of the material world as that which we can touch, see, smell, taste, and hear and then there is the immaterial world that we cannot sense with natural senses. The knowledge of the spirit realm comes by discernment and revelation.
There is something we do in this material world very commonly that is generally not thought of as being spiritual and that is speaking. There is the physical component of speaking but the most important component is spiritual. Our words just like the Words of God are primarily meant to bring a change in this natural realm. In fact, a term I think most of us have heard, abracadabra, is a corruption of Hebrew meaning we create as we speak.

There is nothing in the physical or material world that did not have its origin in the immaterial or spiritual world. Some years ago, Dr. David Yonggi Cho of South Korea, pastor of the largest church in the world for a season wrote a book titled: The Fourth Dimension. Here is a quote from his book, page 23. “Then God spoke to my heart, “Son, as the second dimension includes and controls the first dimension and the third dimension includes and controls the second dimension, so the fourth dimension includes and controls the third dimension, producing a creation of order and beauty. The spirit is the fourth dimension. Every human being is a spiritual being as well as a physical being. They have the fourth dimension as well as the third dimension in their hearts.” Adam and many down through the Scriptures and time (including Jesus in His earthly Ministry) operated in both the third and fourth dimensions. Remember the fourth dimension contains and controls the third dimension which is this physical world.
Okay, I’ll let you munch of that a while. So, what about the singing hills and clapping trees? In this third dimension we see mountains, hills, and trees as rather fixed and non-interactive. However, in the fourth dimension they are very animated and interactive. This is consistent with testimonies from people who have been to Heaven and returned and their descriptions of vegetation, etc.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. The Lord is good, only good, we bring any and all bad things into our lives by the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the actions we take.
