AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FORTY- NINE
THE CURSE IS OUR CHOICE THROUGH SIN
Proverbs 26:2 (KJV)
2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. Before we get started, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. If you didn’t share have you asked yourself why you didn’t share? 2022 is off and running! Who is in control of your life? God? The Devils? Other people? Circumstances? You? Important question and important to have the right answer. By the way the correct answer is ‘you’. Last week we talked about this common false idea that God is in control of everything including the details of our lives. Somehow it is all God. This may be the greatest falsehood foisted on mankind by the devils allowing them (demons) to control our lives while we blame God.
We hear various euphemisms for the ‘God in control’ lie, a couple are that God has allowed this or that, or that everything is Father filtered. To make a long story short and to the point, God will exercise control over anything we give over to Him, He will allow anything we allow, and He does filter or test all things in our lives for legality. Consider the following verse.
Genesis 3:6 (KJV)
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Did the devil make Adam and Eve partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Did God make Adam and Eve to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Did Adam and Eve choose of their own freewill to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Sure, hope you got the correct answer! Adam and Eve made the choice. They were not created to sin but they could make that choice. No one makes us sin except we ourselves.
James 1:13-16 (KJV)
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Isn’t this exactly what happened to Adam and Eve? Now listen to how Adam responds when confronted by God.
Genesis 3:12 (KJV)
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Adam is blaming God for his own choice to sin. This is what we do when we throw the blame for what is going on in our lives over onto God. Last week we ended with the following passage. Let’s listen to the Master (He is our Master, right?) again. Being our Master or Lord does not mean He is controlling us. It means He is giving us instructions and we then chose to obey or not. Sometimes we just pretend not to hear. I wonder how that is going to work out when we stand before Him on Judgment Day?
Matthew 12:33-37 (KJV)
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Who is making the tree (you and me) good or corrupt? Who has an abundance of good and evil in their hearts? Who put the good and the evil in our hearts? Who speaks of their own volition and brings forth good or evil? Who chooses to utter words devoid of faith (idle words)? Who decides what kind of treasure to place in their heart? Look back at the first sin of mankind. Which words did Adam and Eve treasure, the command of God or the lies of the Serpent? Which words are we treasuring, the Words of God or the lies of Satan? You and I must choose to control that thing one inch below our nose. We must on purpose chose the thoughts of God and to speak those thoughts.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
