AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

BROKEN THE YOKE
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this exciting and empowering (like all the Word of God) study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible expanding the Truth beyond our reach alone. Thank you for sharing. The fall holiday season is behind us and we are now immersed into 2022 and the wonderful things God has planned for this year. Will you, will I, walk in these wonderful things? Who chooses the path we walk? Each of us individually choose! I choose to do whatever is necessary with the help of the Holy Spirit to move forward in the wonderful things God has planned for Donna and me. Might moving forward entail leaving our ruts of past years? It sure might, almost certainly will, and I know for many that is scary. Here is the question, whose will do we want to follow, our own designed by demons or the will of God?
There are a rising remnant dear friends who will accomplish all that needs to be accomplished in these the very last days. Yes, there will be an apostasy of many (not all) in the established Church. There will be a wonderful and great ingathering of the lost before that great and wonderful day when we all are gathered home. The casualty rate is much too high today. This apostasy is well underway as evidenced by an absolutely powerless Church. There are those in the Church who are seeing glimpses of light, seeing the Truth, and are moving out of darkness to walk for the first time in the fulness of light. Sadly, many remain entrenched in their traditions and doctrines of demons, talking about God but not experiencing Him. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 9:4-7 (KJV)
4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
As you know the Book of Isaiah is very Messianic (Prophesying the coming Messiah, the Christ) and this passage is no exception. The Lord principally through the Prophet Isaiah has been pointing out to His people their current sinful condition and the coming consequence (not good). Do we see any movement towards repentance? Do we see any movement towards repentance by Gods’ people today? The answer is no to both questions. Unfortunately, most of the Church does not see a need for them to repent nor have a clue of what they might need to repent. Sad indeed but I for one am moving forward and I am praying and hopeful that you are moving with us. The language in the King James Version especially in the prophetic Books can be challenging so I have given us The Living Bible translation to offer increased clarity.
Isaiah 9:2-5 (TLB)
2 The people who walk in darkness shall see a great Light—a Light that will shine on all those who live in the land of the shadow of death.
3 For Israel will again be great, filled with joy like that of reapers when the harvest time has come, and like that of men dividing up the plunder they have won.
4 For God will break the chains that bind his people and the whip that scourges them, just as he did when he destroyed the vast host of the Midianites by Gideon’s little band.
5 In that glorious day of peace there will no longer be the issuing of battle gear; no more the blood-stained uniforms of war; all such will be burned.
Isn’t this all very wonderful? Our Heavenly Father, our Brother, and our Helper are nothing but good, over the top good. Thank you, Lord, for loving me first, I would not have had a clue on my own that I needed a Redeemer. When are the verses above talking about? It seems to me they are making reference to the time when Israel, the remaining remnant (about 1/3) after the Great Tribulation, turns to Messiah and their sin is taken away.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
