BREAK FORTH ON THE RIGHT AND ON THE LEFT

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this engaging study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. The Lord is really good. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you helping us expand our reach with the gospel. That you for valuing this enough to share. The featured picture is of a duck on the water and was supplied by Marilyn Stevens who takes really great wildlife pictures. Thank you, Marilyn.
We just finished Chapter 53, and are now plunging into Chapter 54, if anyone has a question of the goodness of our God, reread Chapter 53, study it. Perhaps a new reader is saying: I don’t know that I believe all that about God, Heaven and Hell.
Psalm 14:1 (KJV)
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Many act and talk like there is a third choice. No dear ones, it is Jesus and Heaven or it is Satan and the world, destination Hell. And, what about that whole prosperity thing?
Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)
22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
No little one, this is not talking only about spiritual riches although this is included today. Read Genesis 12:1-3, was Abram/Abraham only rich spiritually or was he really rich in natural goods including silver and gold? Look around, kick your brain into gear, all of this did not just float together by happenstance. What a foolish thought. Do you have any idea how complex even one living cell is in your body with millions of connections, interactions in that one cell?
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read our loud. Yes, out loud. Rebellious sheep are lunchmeat for the roaring lion.
Isaiah 54:1-5 (KJV)
1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
As we burst into verse three hopefully you will realize we are going to talk about this again in Isaiah Chapter 61. When we trust God, step out in faith, His plan He will cause us to break forth on all sides. As this happens, we and those coming after us, our children, will have possession of the things the Gentiles seek after and value most. Remember, our focus is on the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things. As a result of that will come riches, the glory of God, the things that attract the world. Unfortunately, many are focused on the stuff and not the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is what Jesus preached.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mark 1:14 (KJV)
14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
What are many of the testimonies and the parables about? How the Kingdom of God operates. The phrase in verse 3 of “make the desolate cities to be inhabited” has to do with bringing calm and prosperity to chaos and ruin.
Isaiah 61:4 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
This is our job ladies and gentlemen, sons of God!
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
