WASTED MONEY
Video link: https://youtu.be/ORQODH0KUNc
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our ongoing Bible Study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good to give us such a wonderful roadmap for our lives. A roadmap for an optimal life here and all that comes after here. Opposition comes but we are well equipped in Christ Jesus to repel him and recognize his deceptions. Prosperity in every arena of life is God’s idea. He’s very prosperous you know. He is our Daddy. Scripture says Jesus inherited it all and we are joint-heirs with Him. Awaken dear ones! Why does much of the Church gobble up the poverty suffering gospel? It is a false gospel! One taught to the Church by the world and one further perpetrated in many Churches.
Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Sharing indicates to us that you value these teachings, find them helpful, encouraging, and believe other may benefit as well.
What Happened On This Day – June 26
On the light side, 1963 U.S. President John F. Kennedy holds his iconic “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech, the speech was a welcome gesture of support for the people of West Berlin. East Germany had erected the Berlin Wall just two years earlier to stop mass emigration to the West.
On the dark side, in 1945 The United Nations Charter is signed, some say that the United Nations is the world’s most important international organization. I say it is a tool of Satan.

Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible Text in the Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 55:1-5 (ESV)
1 “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.
3 Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.
4 Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.
5 Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know, and a nation that did not know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your God, and of the Holy One of Israel, for he has glorified you.
Yesterday I left off with verse one of our primary Bible text having discussed the water, the wine, and the milk. So, now let’s ask ourselves what is the symbolism concerning coming to buy these things without money. We know, at least I hope we know, that salvation is a free gift, neither it nor the Power of the Holy Spirit can be purchased in the usual commercial way. This is a Blood Covenant entered into by declaring Jesus as Lord and Savior. This is an exchange of promises, laying down our will, and picking up His will in place of that of darkness. We are presented with an alternative to the covenant we have with the devil and Hell. Upon bowing (worshipping) instead to God, agreeing to the terms of this Blood Covenant we are instantly translated into the Kingdom of God/Heaven, of His dear Son. Before we move into verse two consider the following Wisdom from Proverbs concerning our topic.
Proverbs 9:4-6 (ESV)
4 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” To him who lacks sense she says,
5 “Come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed.
6 Leave your simple ways, and live, and walk in the way of insight.”
The bread (broken body of Jesus) and the wine (shed Blood of Jesus) were in One sinless man and shed for the sins of all who will receive. The word “simple” here refers to those who are foolish, seducible, those open to deception. We must never treat the bread and wine as a common religious ritual or fail to receive what was provided at Calvary.
As we move into the second verse, we are asked why we have chased after that which does not satisfy.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. The Lord is good, He is faithful, and He cannot lie!

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
