IT SHALL COME TO PASS
Video link: https://youtu.be/HfPQIbKKOpo
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this illuminating and empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. We are such a loved and blessed peoples. It is in many ways beyond the scope of our current languages in the earth to describe His love, His blessing, His goodness (glory) towards all, especially those of the household of faith. Dear ones when we were born again, we changed kingdoms and we are no longer to live by the dictates of the world. We have different laws, obligations and benefits the world does not and cannot enjoy. The featured picture today is of the Governor’s Mansion in Richmond Virginia. This of course is to remind us to pray for our government, all that are in authority. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 65:20-25 (NKJV)
20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD, And their offspring with them.
24 “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” Says the LORD.
Aren’t these Scriptures so rich in promise, an exciting future reality and a reality possible for the children of God this very day. Well, let’s pick up with verse 21. What do you think about this idea that before they call, He will answer, while the words are yet in their mouths He will hear? Could this verse and the following passage be talking of the same time?
Amos 9:11-15 (KJV)
11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
This has to do with strong faith and the speed of thought. Thoughts are independent of time or at least travel far faster than the speed of light. We should be walking in this today but all of us will function this way following the Catching Away. Review the final verse of our primary text and meditate the following passage. Oh, what a time!
Isaiah 11:6-9 (KJV)
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
