LOVING GOD AND OTHER BRINGS THE PROMISES OF GOD TO MANIFESTATION IN THIS REALM

Greetings dear children of our Father God. What a privilege to be a child of God, a son of God, a joint heirs with Christ, a king and priest in the Kingdom of God.
TODAY’S LIGHT:
- We are and are to express divine love according to the Truth.
- Divine love is obedience to the Word, to Truth, it is selfless and walks according to Blood Covenant.
- Loving God and others which includes loving ourselves is the key to the functioning of all laws and prophetic utterances to the Godly advantage of people.
Once again today I will be continuing our study of 2nd John still in the first verse.
2 John 1:1 (KJV)
1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
As we continue to explore this first verse, today I will settle in on the phrase “love in the truth”. I will focus on love. This is divine love, love that only God and His children are and can express. This love is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and our spirit. This is agapē/agapaō in the Greek transliterated to English according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Agapē is the noun form of this love and agapaō the verb or action form.
The love in our text is the verb or action form. Might the Apostle John have said that his love (agapaō) concerning the “elect lady and her children” is according to the Truth. We might then say he loves them as Jesus loves them, according to the Word. This is not an emotional transactional relationship but a selfless relationship, love, independent of anything the elect lady and her children do or don’t do. Matthew 22:35-40 (KJV)
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Did you notice verse forty? Forty is the number of testing. Remember Noah’s flood, years in the wilderness, Jesus was tempted for forty days, and Jesus walked the earth forty days after the Resurrection before His ascension. When Jesus refers to “all the law” do we suppose He is speaking only of the enumerated social, civil, criminal, and moral laws. It seems to me they are included but it also includes all spiritual law. Afterall, the physical laws and manifestations have their origin in and reflect the spirit realm.
TAKE HOME LIGHT:
- We are and express divine love according to the Truth.
- Divine love is obedience to the Word, to Truth, it is selfless and walks according to Blood Covenant.
- Loving God and others which includes loving ourselves is the key to the functioning of all laws and prophetic utterances to the Godly advantage of people.
