THE KING IS AWAY, WHAT ARE WE DOING

Greetings and welcome back to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and our study of The Kingdom of God. The core and the lion’s share (common theme) of the Masters’ Ministry in the earth centers around the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Jesus either was teaching the laws, ways, of the Kingdom or demonstrating the laws, ways, of the Kingdom. Jesus’ teaching for the most part emphasized the laws of prosperity and/or health thus the new image for these teachings.
TODAY’S LIGHT:
- The King is away, and we have been given stewardship over the Kingdom on earth. John 14:12 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. How are we doing?
- What have we done with the talents in our hand?
- Are we a profitable son who receives even more or the unprofitable son with a life, and perhaps an eternity of darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth?
Now, let’s go to our anchor Scripture for this study.
Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Again, I ask, “Are we doing this?” Is there anything more important in the eyes of the Lord? It seems like this is number one on our Heavenly Fathers list. Are you hearing this taught at your Church? As we reflect on these questions let’s move forward to in the Masters teachings of the Kingdom of God. Do you suppose this one has anything to do with prosperity?
Matthew 25:14-15 (KJV)
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
I suspect many of you are familiar with the outcome of this account. When the man returned, the man represents the Lord Jesus, the one given five talents had increased to ten and the one given two had increased to four. In both cases this is what the man said.
Matthew 25:23 (KJV)
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
What about the one given one talent? He did not seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, what about you and me?
Matthew 25:24-30 (KJV)
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I don’t think the importance of being about Kingdom business can be emphasized enough in all that we do, doing Kingdom business His way. Remember Kingdom business is our whole life not a partitioned religious part of life.
TODAY’S TAKE HOME:
- The King is away, and we have been given stewardship over the Kingdom on earth. John 14:12 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. How are we doing?
- What have we done with the talents in our hand?
- Are we a profitable son who receives even more or the unprofitable son with a life, and perhaps an eternity of darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth?
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
