THE KINGDOM OF GOD DELIVERED TO THE FATHER

Greetings dear saints of God and any others taking a look at this Christian Bible Teaching. I teach the Bible from the Bible. I do not rely on the traditions of men, doctrines of demons or sacred cows. Prove all things dear ones, prove all things by the Bible. Today I will be continuing the teaching series on The Kingdom of God. This is teaching number one-hundred thirty. Now, let’s go to our primary text.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
You probably noticed this is all red letters and is a command from our Lord and King. Let’s each of us ask ourselves if we are putting anything or anyone before our seeking after the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. In this present age the Kingdom of God is within us and is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is vital to the function and expression of righteousness (right doing according to the King), peace, and joy. People outside the Kingdom of God need to see Heaven upon the earth in our lives. They do not need to see a religious brand of what they already have.
Next let’s examine our next teaching passage concerning the Kingdom of God which is quite interesting.
1 Corinthians 15:22-26 (KJV)
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Our focus Scripture is verse twenty-four which tells that a day is coming when He will hand the Kingdom over to the Father, His Father and our Father. Twenty-two, taken by itself might seem to say that all people are made alive or are given salvation. That of course is not the case as you examine the full context of this chapter and Scripture on the whole. All who make Jesus Lord are made alive, are given eternal life. Verse twenty-three tells us that Jesus was the first fruit of salvation then each of us in our order as we made Him Lord and Savior.
Then comes the day when Jesus has subdued all things that He delivers the Kingdom of God to His Father and our Father. One might ask when that might be. As we look to the 24th verse we see that the last enemy to be destroyed is death. So, when is death destroyed?
Revelation 21:1-5 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Jesus hands the Kingdom of God to the Father with the coming of the new Heaven and the new earth and the New Jerusalem descending from Heaven. Oh, what a day! If Jesus is your Lord, you will be there!
TAKE HOME:
- The Holy Spirit within is the facilitator, the empowerment, the One instrumental with us to bring Heaven to earth.
- When every enemy is destroyed Jesus will hand the Kingdom of God over to the Father.
- There is a new heaven and a new earth coming and a New Jerusalem will descend from Heaven and on that day Jesus passes the Kingdom of God to the Father.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
