THE MORTAL BODY WILL BE MADE IMMORTAL

Greetings dear saints of God and any others taking a look at this Christian Bible Teaching. I teach the Bible from the Bible. I do not rely on the traditions of men, doctrines of demons or sacred cows. Prove all things dear ones, prove all things by the Bible. Today I will be continuing the teaching series on The Kingdom of God. This is teaching number one-hundred thirty-one. Now, let’s go to our primary text.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Well, here we are again, we must get this down into us, our spirit, but it must transform our minds by displacing all else. This verse is much more than the twenty words recorded on the page. This is a command from the King of kings. This does not mean you become weird. I means that whatever you do at home, on the job, shopping, driving, and so on represents a Kingdom of God attitude and way of doing. It is a way of excellence. You are the problem solver wherever you may be. You have access to all knowledge, you have the mind of Christ, the Holy Spirit is one spirit with yours.
Now, let’s examine our next teaching passage on the Kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 15:47-50 (KJV)
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Adam’s body came from the earth and God breathed of Himself (soul/spirit) into that body. Jesus body was not of the earth, but a body prepared for Him by the Father Himself (Hebrews 10:5). Our bodies are corrupted by the curse, sin, but we are getting a new incorruptible body. The Apostle Peter once commented that the Apostle Paul was sometimes difficult to understand. I understand that sentiment, he could be more clear at times. Let’s look at verses 48 and 49 in the Amplified Bible for a little clearer view.
1 Corinthians 15:48-49 (AMP)
48 Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded).
49 And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.
We have that dual nature, of the earth and of Heaven. Soon it will be all of Heaven for the passage immediately following has to do with the Catching Away (Rapture). Let’s look at that as we close for today.
1 Corinthians 15:50-54 (AMP)
50 But I tell you this, brethren, flesh and blood cannot [become partakers of eternal salvation and] inherit or share in the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable (that which is decaying) inherit or share in the imperishable (the immortal).
51 Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed)
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed).
53 For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us, this nature that is capable of dying] must put on immortality (freedom from death).
54 And when this perishable puts on the imperishable and this that was capable of dying puts on freedom from death, then shall be fulfilled the Scripture that says, Death is swallowed up (utterly vanquished forever) in and unto victory.
Look up and rejoice, our redemption is very near!
TAKE HOME:
- You are not to be weird, you are to be a person of excellence, a problem solver not the problem.
- For the present time we have the nature of Adam and the nature of Jesus.
- Soon this mortal, perishable physical body will be made immortal and imperishable, oh what a day!
