GIFTS – PART SIXTEEN
Friday – February 7, 2020, Sh’vat 12, 5780

Greetings wonderful and precious saints of God and welcome back to this illuminating and empowering Bible Study if we choose to be empowered. The primary purpose of our empowerment is to please our Heavenly Father, and be obedient to His will in our lives. This will impact the Kingdom of God, others around us, and He will see to it we are blessed in the process. Our focus however is not us but Him and others. Will we receive, believe, embrace, and implement the light we see or will we reject it or be slack with the light our Heavenly Father brings to us? Being slack is laziness, and rebellion against God and brings or allows stealing, killing, and destroying into our lives. The yoke and burden of the Lord are easy and light why do we fight against it so?
Matthew 11:30 (KJV)
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
f you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons. Just do it, there is no incognito place of victory in the Kingdom of God. Jesus said that if we did not confess Him before men (or women) He would not confess us before the Father. I don’t want any of that music! As you will recall this (now) Friday series is dealing with the many wonderful gifts we can enjoy from God starting with the foundational gift of salvation.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I have been building, illuminating, the legal path established for the coming of a Messiah, Christ Jesus our Lord. There is a myth in the Church that God just does as He pleases whenever He pleases and nothing could be further from the Truth. God will not violate the authority or freewill of man and the devil cannot. We will pick up on the precious trail of blood that starts in the Garden of Eden on the Day of Sin and Death and culminates at the Mercy Seat of Heaven when the precious Blood of The Lamb is applied for the sins of the world. As we have studied in some detail the remedy for sin was decided upon in the counsels of Heaven before the foundation of the world.
Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
God had a remedy for sin in mankind before sin existed in mankind. It was not that He willed that man sin, certainly not. The Word is the Lamb, the remedy for the sins of mankind. God found a man, the man Abraham and made a Blood Covenant with him and now in Genesis chapter twenty-two that Covenant is being tested. Could we have withstood this test? In order for the great things of God is happen in our lives we all must pass the faith with love test just as Abraham and Isaac at and on Mount Moriah. Our love (obedience) of God must far exceed any other love of any type or we are headed for trouble. Our faith and love (agape) must be unwavering, unshakeable. Love is the power or the fuel of faith (Galatians 5:6). Let’s pick up our Genesis twenty-two text.
Genesis 22:7-10 (KJV)
7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
Abraham, Isaac, and two young men have arrived after three days at Mount Moriah and are now ascending the mountain. We have seen in prior verses that God showed Abraham what would happen on this very mountain some two thousand years into the future, the sacrifice of The Lamb of God. He saw that the Father would bring His Son (Jesus) from the dead and therefore was obligated this day by Blood Covenant to bring Isaac from the dead. Jesus confirms this in the following Scripture.
John 8:56 (KJV)
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
As they ascend Mount Moriah Isaac asks about a lamb for sacrifice and Abraham tells him that God will provide for Himself a lamb. Abraham knew they were there to sacrifice Isaac but speaks instead of The Lamb to come. Notice Abraham says “God will provide himself a lamb” not God will provide a lamb for us. As we will shortly see, God does indeed provide a lamb (ram) for sacrifice that day but God had to see Abraham’s heart, and Isaac’s heart first. There is no mention of a struggle between Abraham and his son Isaac just as two thousand years later there will be no struggle between the Father and Jesus. Abraham is willing to sacrifice Isaac because he trusts God completely and is fully persuaded that God will raise Isaac from the dead for, He plans to raise Jesus from the dead. This is the Law of Reciprocity, a lynchpin in Blood Covenant. Isaac is willing to be sacrificed for he trusts not only his father Abraham but God. Two thousand years later Jesus, the Word made flesh, will go willingly to the Cross for He trusts His Father, His God. As we end for this Friday, we see Abraham with the knife in his hand extended over his only son whom he loves to slay him.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
