A WELL OF TRUTH
WISDOM FROM THE BOOK

Greetings dear and precious Blood bought saints of God and welcome back to A WELL OF TRUTH. We are so blessed to serve a God, in fact the only God offering eternal life and prosperity of every kind here and hereafter, who shows us our path with Him clearly. Before moving forward please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. Thank you for sharing, you have a vital role in this Ministry. Prepare to receive, prove, believe, doubt not, and implement the Word the Lord is having me deliver today. We will be exploring a very small portion of one of the Wisdom Books. So, now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and continue reading out loud.
Ecclesiastes 10:4-8 (KJV)
4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
Perhaps we, the Church, the body of Christ, have forgotten some of these things, maybe received poor teaching, maybe never knew, or just plain don’t believe. Let’s start with verse four. Of course, this verse can apply to a myriad of situations. Perhaps a child parent or other authority in their life, an authority in our adult lives like the government or others like those of spiritual authority in our Church, or even those of authority in various places of business. Many of us don’t like the word ‘yield’, we are American’s, nobodies telling me what to do. Really? This word here has to do with mending or bringing a cure. Let’s look at this verse in another translation.
Ecclesiastes 10:4 (HCSB)
4 If the ruler’s anger rises against you, don’t leave your place, for calmness puts great offenses to rest.
This doesn’t mean that we are quiet at the moment but that we are quiet later on and not be blabbing it to others. We have this idea that we must defend ourselves, certainly we had no role in the issue. We do not have to defend ourselves, generally, in these situations and yes, we did have a role. We must stomp pride to death beneath our feet and submit. Our responsibility before God is to walk in love. The following is just a little reminder about love (agape, God kind of love).
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (HCSB)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited,
5 does not act improperly, is not selfish, is not provoked, and does not keep a record of wrongs.
6 ⌊Love⌋ finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth.
7 ⌊It⌋ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Why did I have to bring that up? Please read and listen to the following announcement.

Now let’s continue with this wonderful Book of Ecclesiastes and at least start to explore the next three verses.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 (KJV)
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
Notice that evil and an error are one and the same thing. We don’t tend to recognize that an error in our beliefs is a deviation from God’s Word to other words and this is evil. Also notice that these errors, evils, originate with the rulers.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
