FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FIFTY-EIGHT
IS HEALING FOR EVERYONE? – PART TWO

Greetings dear and precious saints of God, the only Living God, the only God of all good now and forever more. Also, welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. Today’s teaching is dealing with healing and giant errors that exist in the teachings of some parts of the organized Church concerning healing. Before I move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth, with hope. Thank you for sharing.
As I start forward let me answer the question which is the title of this study. “Is Healing for Everyone?” YES!!! Recently an article landed in my inbox with the title “4 Reasons Why God Doesn’t Always Answer Prayers for Healing”. As we look around us, and even at ourselves, there are many who have various illnesses, Christians and heathens alike. Many if not most of these have prayed for the Lord to heal them, and/or asked others to pray for them to be healed. Yet, they remain unhealed. Does this massive number of unhealed persons who have prayed for healing, even claimed healing, mean that God has chosen not to answer their prayer for healing? In effect is God, our Heavenly Father, and Christ Himself choosing winners and losers concerning healing? Certainly not, God wants all peoples to be healthy especially His children (2 Peter 3:9).
The author of this article states up front that “there are many times when the Lord does not answer our prayers for physical healing.” The author goes on to say, “Sadly, some have been led to believe they lack faith”. The author views this as a false assertion but it is the Truth. The author goes on to say, “at the end of the day, the truth remains: Sometimes, God chooses not to heal”. All of that is false to the core. All of this throws the responsibility for our healing over on the Lord, absolving us of a part, and putting the understanding out of our reach. It is a viscous lie that God is in control of all that goes on in our lives, and in everything else. There are times when I don’t like the idea that I play the pivotal role for what goes on in my life and to a degree the lives of those around me, especially family. However, that is the Truth. I will now list the four “Biblical” reasons God doesn’t always heal according to the author of this article.
- “He sees the Beginning from the End”
- “He wants to save”
- “Our days are numbered”
- “His ways are not our ways”
Last week I discussed reasons one and two which brings us to reason number three. “Our days are numbered”. The author put forward the following Scripture which I will deal with.
Psalm 139:16 (CJB)
16 Your eyes could see me as an embryo, but in your book all my days were already written; my days had been shaped before any of them existed.
Can we all agree that God has a perfect plan for each of our lives which He has thought from our conception (Jeremiah 29:11)? We know (unlike this article) that God has only a good plan with all good things for He is nothing but good, and He does not teach using demons or the curse. God has a plan for us in the earth and beyond. Our time in the earth is to be nothing but good. That is not to say attacks will not present themselves but we and we alone determine if they have a place in us. When our missions in the earth are completed, we can put aside this physical body and go home. There are things that will change the length of our days. If we were to live in the perfect will of God all of our days, we would have nothing but wealth, health, and abundance in every area of life, however, that is not the case for anyone (other than Christ). Living in sin shortens and righteousness lengthens that which was shortened. It is not the will of God that we leave the earth as the result of trauma or sickness making our body uninhabitable. Meditate on the following verses.
Proverbs 10:27 (KJV)
27 The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
Proverbs 3:1-2 (KJV)
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
What about reason number 4 that God does not always choose to heal? The author states that “His ways are not our ways”. The author gives the following reference for this idea but leaves out verse seven.
Isaiah 55:7-9 (KJV)
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
God is talking to the wicked which can be the unsaved or even the saved when we hang onto wicked treasure (thoughts, words, and ways). The righteous are to have the thoughts and ways of God. His thoughts are to become our way of thinking, our thoughts, and His ways will then follow in our lives. Dear ones we have access to the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16 (KJV)
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Should we choose, we may walk in the “mind of Christ”! How do we get there?
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Lord willing, I will complete this study next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
