AMERICA – AN EXCEPTIONAL NATION

Again, be reminded to pray for and to honor our governments at every level across these United States. Pictured is the United States Capitol. America is an exceptional nation among the nations of the world. The word ‘exceptional’ can mean special, extraordinary, incomparable, unique, outstanding, and remarkable. America is all of these things because we in our foundation were careful to be established in Covenant with the only true God. Let’s take a moment and look at an excerpt from the Mayflower Compact written 1620.
“We whose names are underwriten, the loyall subjects of our dread soveraigne Lord King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britaine, Franc, & Ireland king, defender of the faith, &c., having undertaken, for the glorie of God, and advancemente of the Christian faith…”
Now let us notice the words from various States acknowledging dependence upon Almighty God. All States have these words excepting Oregon. Let us start with the Preamble to the California Constitution.
PREAMBLE AND DECLARATION OF RIGHTS. WE, the People of the State of California, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, in order •to secure and perpetuate its blessings, do establish this Constitution.
Wow, even California recognized their dependence upon the Almighty God in their beginning. Although the peoples, and many Churches of California (and all other states) have turned aside to many other gods there will be a repentance and a returning to the One True God. Let’s look at a couple of more so we see this is not just a fluke with one state.
PREAMBLE Humbly invoking the blessings of Almighty God, the people of the State of Texas, do ordain and establish this Constitution.
PREAMBLE. Objects of government. We the people of Maine, in order to establish justice, insure tranquility, provide for our mutual defense, promote our common welfare, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of liberty, acknowledging with grateful hearts the goodness of the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe in affording us an opportunity, so favorable to the design; and, imploring God’s aid and direction in its accomplishment, do agree to form ourselves into a free and independent State, by the style and title of the State of Maine and do ordain and establish the following Constitution for the government of the same.
PREAMBLE. We the people of the State of Arizona, grateful to Almighty God for our liberties, do ordain this Constitution.
We are an exceptional nation, an exceptional people because of our Covenant with the Almighty God. Good government is dependent upon the guiding Hand of the Almighty God. This Almighty God is not one among many but the Only God, all others, so called great religions are contrivances of the wicked one (Israel and Judaism is an exception). The survival of this Republic depends upon a vibrant Church of Jesus Christ with a religious (Christian) and virtuous peoples. I will end with the words of President of the United States and Minister of the Gospel James A. Garfield.
“Now, more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature…If the next centennial does not find us a great nation…it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”
