OUR BINDING AND LOOSING IS BACKED BY HEAVEN

Welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and the ongoing study of the Kingdom of God and repentance. This was the major theme of Jesus’ Ministry in the earth and before that John the Baptist. Of course, the whole Bible speaks to the Laws of the Kingdom of God. In a nutshell, follow Gods’ commands and thrive in the earth with eternal life to follow, do as you please and perish. Let’s move to our anchor Scripture and then into the next teaching from Jesus in the Book of Matthew concerning the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
I suspect you are tired of me asking if you are doing this, but I am also checking myself as well. All Scripture applies equally to us all, teacher and student. Our focus here and now not only determines our testimony and effectiveness for the Kingdom but our rewards on that great and wonderful day to come. Moving forward.
Matthew 16:19 (KJV)
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
What a wonderful Scripture, a wonderful reality, but do we believe it and act upon it accordingly? Let me point out that the word “in” before “heaven” is also translated as “by”, or one might say backed up by Heaven. Let’s look at this verse in the God’s Word Translation.
Matthew 16:19 (GW)
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you imprison, God will imprison. And whatever you set free, God will set free.”
You see, whatever we permit will be permitted by Heaven and whatever we forbid will be forbidden by Heaven not in Heaven but in the earth. We are the authority with jurisdiction on the earth. What are you saying or not saying? Notice in the following witness the phrase “upholding all things by the word of his power”. Jesus sits at the right hand of “Majesty on high” administrating justice in all the earth.
Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
TAKE HOME:
- Do we believe that as we speak we are creating the world around us?
- Do we understand that Heaven honors our words, the words we believe. We are forbidden (idle words) to speak words we do not believe as well as words contrary to the Word of God.
- Did you know that you had these keys which are released by the words of our mouths?
