AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH AMERICA – THE CURSE UNLEASHED
Monday – September 11, 2017
ONE TERRIBLE MORNING sixteen years ago Islamic extremist terrorists hijacked four fuel laden jets. Two jets struck the Twin Towers in New York City (pictured), one the Pentagon, and the forth was diverted to a field in Pennsylvania due to heroic actions of some passengers. That morning some three thousand people were killed by agents of Satan. That morning we witnessed the horrible consequences of sin without repentance. The Churches were filled following this tragedy but not for long, people were fearful but did not repent. In recent days America has been hit with hurricanes Harvey and Irma (picture, Naples Florida Fox
News) with Jose close behind. The cost of these two hurricanes alone is expected to run in the hundreds of billions of dollars.
The Church has given lip service to repentance but has not repented, the leadership of America has not repented, and the nation as a whole has not repented. There are three predominate sins which must bring the Church to prayer, repentance (for themselves and the nation), and fasting. America has left the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for many other gods, we have murdered over fifty-three million children in the womb since 1973, and we have embraced the LGBT agenda. The Church has stood passively by as if we had nothing to say and these things were beyond our control. Increasing tragedies (an unleashing of the curse) lie at America’s door, the judgment of God is at hand. Repentance is and remains the way of salvation. The Church of Jesus Christ must awake expressing and demonstrating a true repentance, arise tearing down the evil high ideas, and walk in triumph as the sons of God, kings in the earth.
Let us consider the Words of Jesus on this topic.
Luke 13:1-5 (KJV)
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
