Welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries. Welcome back to the fifth installment of this special teaching series commemorating our spiritual independence from darkness and our independence as a nation. The title “BLOOD COVENANT NATIONS” is referring to three nations. Two of these three nations are natural, and they are Israel and the United States. The third is spiritual and that is the Church, the Body of Christ. I suspect many are aware that the United States in on the wrong track and has been for some time. No, the track the USA is on is not the will of God, being some sovereign plan beyond our understanding. We are off track in deep darkness of rebellion to the will and ways of God, our Father. There is a spark of hope at the present time but let us get and keep our eyes on Jesus and let Him work through whatever willing vessels He may find. I ask again; will America return to righteousness?
Today I’m going to talk about the American Flag and how it is an expression of our Blood Covenant with God. The American Flag is an expression of the Hand of Almighty God, the Providence of
God, in this Covenant Nation. Interestingly, I do not see any evidence that the creators of the American Flag understood the message of the flag. I am convinced this was in the mind and plan of God from the beginning. God had a plan for this nation from before the foundation of the world. His plan, His Word will not return void spoken by our mouth in faith. Are we speaking the plan, the will of God, or the devils plan?
So let us examine this wonderful expression of God to us and the world. The American flag has seven red strips and six white stripes for a total of thirteen strips. In one corner of the flag is a rectangle with a blue background and fifty stars. We will consider first the seven red strips. The color red represents the blood of Jesus which has cleansed us, made us whole in Him, and given us eternal life. The number seven represents spiritual perfection or completeness in Christ Jesus. When Jesus shed His blood and died at Calvary the way was paved for our cleansing, to be righteous, and receive the quickening of our dead spirit by the Holy Spirit. When we receive Jesus as Lord, we are made whole, a new creation in Christ Jesus. There are six white strips, and white is the color of purity. We were made pure in the sight of the Father by the blood of Jesus. Six is the number of man. So, the six white strips signify the cleansing of man by the sacrifice, by the blood, of Jesus.
The flag has a total of thirteen strips. The color of the strips and number of strips of each color reminds us that we are dependent upon Jesus for our salvation, our cleansing, and our righteousness (His righteousness freely given). These strips are a reminder for our nation as a whole and each of us individually that we are dependent upon God. We must never forget to remain focused on Jesus and the blood of the cross. The total number of strips on the American flag is thirteen which represents depravity and rebellion. If we forget what the framers, the founders, put into the Constitutions of each state as well as the National Declaration of Independence and Constitution we will be in rebellion against God and will fall into depravity. Awaken Church! We the Church have fallen into rebellion and depravity! Think on the following passage which warns us of the price of abandoning righteousness.
Leviticus 26:14-16 (KJV)
14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
I do not know about you, but what part of that passage sounds good to you? Unfortunately, some Christians today are not showing diligence in their walk with God; they cannot even get to Church on time. The people of God along with the world are caught up in their own agenda, “it is all about me” and occasionally when I have time the Kingdom of God. Let me tell you something folks, we have an enemy whose fulltime job is our absolute destruction, and he is very diligent. The Church, some of the Church can identify the problems but seem oblivious to the solutions which are in their authority, their hand.
How far we have fallen, but as Yogi Bara said, “it’s not over until the fat lady sings.” In this case the Church will awaken and there will be a massive change of events before the coming of our Lord. Now, let me get back to the spiritual significance of the American flag. The rectangle in the corner of the flag with the blue background and fifty stars has an equally amazing message as the strips. The blue background is a reminder of the abode of God, Heaven and that Heaven is the location of our true citizenship. Blue also represents the work of the Holy Spirit in America’s life.
The stars are the children of God. We, the children of God, are the government of God in the earth. We, the Church, are to bring light into darkness and show those who are lost the way of salvation. Number fifty represents the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit returned to earth legally on the day of Pentecost which is fifty days after Passover, and fifty days after the crucifixion of our Lord, Jesus. Fifty days after the children of Israel were freed from Egypt is when God gave Moses the Law on Mount Sinai. This was the start of the Feast of the Lord called Pentecost. Another aspect of fifty, is that it represents jubilee. The year of jubilee under the Old Covenant was every fiftieth year and, in that year, there was a proclamation of liberty, and every person was returned to their family and their property.

10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto
all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man
unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
Ladies and gentlemen, America is a jubilee nation. Some 25% of all missions to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the earth originate in the United States of America. The United States has approximately 4.2% of the world’s population. The American Christian Church supplies a disproportionate amount of money and persons to proclaim the good news of liberty. There are two natural nations on the earth that have been established in Blood Covenant with God. One was Israel and God initiated that covenant. It took 2000 years from Adam to find a man, Abram, who would believe and enter Blood Covenant. The second is America and we initiated that covenant which is very special to God. God is very cognizant of His Covenants, especially Blood Covenants and He will not abandon America. He will seek day and night for those men and women who will seek His face and lead America out of this quagmire. The fingerprints of God are all over America.
