AN OFF-TRACK NATION IS THE REFLECTION OF AN OFF-TRACK CHURCH

Welcome to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries. Today is the start of a seven-part special teaching series commemorating our spiritual independence from darkness and our independence as a nation. In 2012 I wrote and distributed a booklet to our partners titled “America – A COVENANT NATION”. At that time this Ministry was registered under the name Eastern Gate Ministries International Inc. Much of this teaching over the next few days will come from that booklet written and distributed in 2012. I suspect many are aware that the United States in on the wrong track and has been for some time. The question is this; will America return to righteousness? Tell me, does the following passage of Scripture describe what we see all around us today in these United States of America and around the world?
Jeremiah 6:15-17 (KJV)
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
Thud! The box came slamming down to the earth guided by what appeared to be four pieces of angle iron out of eternity. I looked at the box and this is what was written there upon, “Soviet Style Collapse”. This was May 7, 2012. For those of you who study
Biblical Numerology you will find that date fascinating. The collapse of the Soviet Union seemingly occurred overnight. One day the East German and Soviet guards are shooting those trying to escape and the next they are lightheartedly passing out pieces
of the Berlin wall as keepsakes. If I have heard my Lord correctly, “so shall it be in America”.
In June 2008 the Lord gave me a very brief Word for the Church. He said, “There is a storm coming but it need not be”. This was before the collapse of the stock market, and the housing market. This was also before the elections of 2008. I did not know what
the storm was but I did know that God was not referring only to weather, at least not in the major thrust of His message to the Church. Since 2008 this nation has gone from bad to worse in terms of the economy. The national debt is skyrocketing, and a
financial disaster of unforeseen proportions is at the door. Sin abounds, morality is in freefall, and the righteous are seemingly silent.
For the better part of a century, we have been witness to the destruction of the family, which started when the mother was taken out of the home in the pursuit of materialism, and that destruction continues with a love of money, the love of stuff, and with an increasingly militant homosexual agenda. The
Christian Church is under attack from all levels of government, and the name of Jesus in many places and venues is forbidden including the public square. The forces of gross darkness have increased especially in the Middle East, and Israel is increasingly
being pushed away by the official American Government.
In late June and early July 2010, the Lord reminded me of this Word He had given me in 2008. As you may recognize these Words are coming just before elections here in the United States. Once again, the Lord said, “There is a storm coming but it need not be”. At this point in time many, including myself, thought we were in a storm, we were not thinking that the worst part was still in the future. In addition, the Lord gave me two additional pieces of information. One was “this is the appointed time” from Habakkuk 2:2-3, and the second piece was from Esther 4:14.

2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Esther 4:14 (KJV)
14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
TAKE HOME:
- Many of us can agree that we are on the wrong track as a nation and as a Church. A nation cannot go off track when the Church is being the Church.
- Morality is in free fall there has been a wholesale casting aside of moral absolutes, Biblical living as to how to relate to God and our fellow man. Does the following verse apply to us today? Judges 17:6 (KJV)In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Are we just singing about Jesus being our King and not allowing Him to rule (the Word of God) in our lives?
- Do you have Gods’ vision for your life and for this nation? You are here for such a time as this, are you in your assignment?
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
