AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

BELIEVERS MINISTRY – PART EIGHT
THE UPSIDE-DOWN CHURCH
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. For several weeks I have been teaching on the Believers Ministry, The Upside-Down Church. As you will recall from prior teachings, we, the Church, have absolute authority in the earth and the Power to back up the authority. Before moving forward please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry beyond its current bounds. Are you reading out loud? I will now continue taking us through the Scriptures to illuminate the Ministry of the Believer. I will once again start with the following Scripture.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is talking and He is talking to all that believe on Him. Do I, do you, believe on Him? If so, He is talking to us. Doing the works Jesus did in His earthly Ministry is a command from the Head of the Church. Would Jesus tell us to do this if we, those who believe on Him, did not have the authority and the Power to do it? I hope you know the answer is a resounding NO! So, what’s the problem? The answer always settles at obedience and faith. Consider that a lack of obedience is a lack of love (agape) which is the power of faith. Last week I ended with the following passage, so let’s review and move forward.
Luke 10:17-20 (KJV)
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38) and so should we be if we believe our main text (John 14:12). In His earthly ministry Jesus sent out the twelve to do what He was doing and then He sent out the seventy to do likewise. And now in our time we are sent out like Jesus, the twelve, and the seventy (John 20:21). Dear ones we have authority over every enemy and every expression of our enemies and nothing can or will by any means hurt us. Dear children of God are being hurt on every side because they either do not know this or do not believe this. Do you, do I believe? We have all authority in the earth and unrivaled Power to enforce our authority resides in and with us.
Genesis 1:26 (AMP)
26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.
Do we have Scripture for God changing His mind about mankind in His image and likeness having complete authority in the earth? No, we don’t, Gods’ will does not change.
Matthew 28:18-20 (NJB)
18 Jesus came up and spoke to them. He said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19 Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.’
We go in the same authority Jesus has, the same authority the Triune God gave man in the beginning.
Ephesians 2:5-6 (KJV)
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Remember Jesus is seated at the Right Hand of Majesty on High, the position of authority and we are in Him, in that same seat of authority. Our authority in the earth is absolute according to the will of God, there is no authority higher in the earth. God the Father has the highest authority and He expresses His will through His Word, Jesus Head of the Church, and the activity of the Holy Spirit however He does not make us do any of His will. It is a freewill system, His idea not mine. God wanted a family, those who look like and act just like Him. Real love (agape) does not exist without a choice. True obedience does not exist without a choice. In the same way true faith does not exist without a choice (to believe in something else).
