FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK EIGHTEEN
DO WE LOVE JESUS – THE WORD? – PART FOUR
Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. As you read this aloud and take the time to study, meditate, and reflect upon this teaching also take a moment and share this teaching. On a personal note, those of you who follow on Facebook know that Donna and I are moving to Texas this month. Our home is sold and we are going through our stuff to do the purging we should have been doing right along.
As you will recall for the last three Saturdays, I have been sharing how I have become acutely and painfully aware of the failure of many in the Church, body of Christ, to be transformed by the Word of God. I even shared in the May 15th publication a portion of a Prophecy I received on a recent trip to Texas. Perhaps this observation at least partially explains why so many pastors (and other ministry leaders) leave ministry every month. The failure to be transformed by the Word of God is a fundamental cancer, destructive force, in the body of Christ.
Seeing or hearing the Word of God does not automatically transform us, we have to consciously receive the Word, believe the Word, and act upon the Word. Yes, we are on our way to Heaven but in really rough shape. Not only are we to be in good shape but we are to be doing the works Jesus did and the greater works. We are not walking in our God given authority and not allowing the flow of God’s Power (the Blessing) in our life. It is a heart issue my friends. Let us not draw near with our lips and be far from Him in our hearts (Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:7-9). The contents of our hearts determine the course of our lives (Proverbs 4:23, Luke 6:45-49). Let us not just look good and talk a good game but get in the game and run the full course of the wonderful life Jesus paid for and the Father has planned for us. He planned for every one of us to accomplish much for the Kingdom of God according to our God given talents and gifts. He intended for us to have Heaven upon the earth. Does that describe my life or yours?
Dear ones we must study the Word, then make those Words our words.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I don’t know about you but I sure crave the approval of my Heavenly Father. What about you? I sure want to be one who rightly divides the Word of Truth. Wrongly dividing the Word of Truth leads to an open door for the enemy, rightly dividing the Word of Truth leads to an open door for the Blessing. Listen to brother James.
James 1:21-22 (KJV)
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Now, the New Living Translation, he is talking to Christians.
James 1:21-22 (NLT)
21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.
22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
James by the unction (Anointing) of the Holy Spirit says to do the Word of God. We are not just to hear and shout “amen” but to do the Word of God. Prove the Word of God by at least two witnesses and do what it actually says, not what someone else thought it said but do the pure simple gospel.
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The word ‘prove’ in this verse means to allow or discern. Let us abandon the ways of the world and fully embrace the ways of the Spirit pleasing our Father, running our course, and finishing our course, accomplishing all we are assigned in the Kingdom of God. Let us be doers not talkers only. Do we really love the Word?
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
