AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART FORTY-ONE
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and pre-saints of God. Welcome back to this enlightening, faith building, empowering study of what we the Church are commanded to accomplish in the earth before the return of Christ. In fact, there will be no return of Christ until a people of God arise to fulfill all things. We are empowered with both authority and Power (the Blessing). As we move forward, please take a minute to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry, the reach of the Truth, to believers and unbelievers alike. Now, once again let’s carefully read our primary text.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
In order to move into the lesser level of doing the works Jesus did, we must believe He will do these things through us, we must see ourselves doing these things. We are not the healer, the raiser of the dead but without our faith, our words, our motivation of love, and obeying the leadership of the Holy Spirit it does not happen through us. The works that Jesus did will start to manifest more and more commonly before we see the greater works. In the past we have seen examples of this in various ministries but has not been common among Christians and never transformed an area, city, like spoken of in Isaiah 61, verses 4 and 5 below. We have never had a ministry that delivered the whole package and there are none to this day. By the whole package I am speaking about the works that Jesus did plus the building of the old wastes, the raising up of former desolations, or the repair of waste cities. These things have not been taught dear ones, but those days are over, you and I will be hearing more and more and more of this, our assignment, from multiple sources. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Now, let’s turn our attention to this now familiar Isaiah 61 Scripture.
Isaiah 61:4-6 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
Let’s consider verse six as we go forward in our Isaiah text. I believe that some of what is being conveyed here is that there will be a wide spread knowledge among the heathen as to who we are that are Anointed to transform whole cities. Notice the phrase “men shall call you the Ministers of our God”. Our Isaiah text says that we shall be named the Priests of the Lord as a future event but we the Church since the Cross are already ordained priests as well as kings of the Kingdom of God.
Revelation 1:6 (KJV)
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
This is one of the wonderful consequences of Calvary and the Resurrection. Jesus is our High Priest and we are serving Him and the Father as Priests under Him just as Jesus is the King of kings and we serve as kings under His direction. A priest is a mediator, one who stands between God and man. The function of the priest (mediator, intercessor) is vital in the Kingdom of God and can save a person from the fires of Hell. Let’s look at Isaiah 61:4-6 in the Complete Jewish Bible.
Isaiah 61:4-6 (CJB)
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, restore sites long destroyed; they will renew the ruined cities, destroyed many generations ago.
5 Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, foreigners plow your land and tend your vines;
6 but you will be called cohanim of Adonai, spoken of as ministers to our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and revel in their riches.
Sure, sounds like wealth transfer on a massive, widespread scale to me. Do we believe any of this? Do we believe the Word of God? Do not for a moment believe this will be a passive process? Those who believe will be very much involved and operating on the level God wills that we all operate at. We, the Rising Remnant are not going out of here with our tail between our legs but as a glorious triumphant Church.
Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Does this or our Isaiah text sound like a weak and pitiful Church crawling through the Gate of Pearl into Heaven? Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
