FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK NINETY-EIGHT
BELIEVERS MINISTRY – PART ONE
THE UPSIDE-DOWN CHURCH

Greetings dear and precious saints of God as this year is about to close out. Thanksgiving behind us, Christmas looming ahead and the New Year. As I have asked many times, did we spend our time well in 2022, what are our plans for improvement in 2023 concerning the Kingdom of God. Are we going to do the same things in 2023 we did in 2022 that did not produce fruit? In order for change to occur, a change must be made. I know it sounds simple but somehow in our thoughts we imagine wrongly that we can keep doing what we are doing and get a different result. When will we study for ourselves, find the blockage, make the needed change, and obtain the desired (Kingdom of God) result? Today I am going to start a teaching about our authority and the Power available to the Spirit filled believer. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry beyond its current bounds. In the course of this teaching, I will be touching upon several issues including the tradition or idea of impartation. If you are pretty well set in the traditions of man, I suggest you stop reading here, perhaps tomorrows teaching will be warmer and fuzzier. I will now take us through several Scriptures that hopefully are very familiar but perhaps this time will illuminate with new light.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is talking and He is talking to all that believe on Him. Do I, do you believe on Him? If so, He is talking to us. Can we review in our minds the works that are recorded for us which He did or were done through Him? Us doing the works Jesus did in His earthly Ministry is a command from the Head of the Church, from the Father, and also the Holy Spirit who is our Teacher (John 14:21, 26). Would Jesus tell us to do this if we, those who believe on Him, did not have the authority and the Power backing that authority? I hope you know the answer is a resounding NO! So, what’s the problem? Let’s move to another Scripture.
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The word translated as ‘power’ in verse eighteen is the Greek word for authority. As you see from the full context, He immediately delegated that authority or what is called dominion in the Book of Genesis. Traditionally this passage is called the “Great Commission” and many of us have repeatedly been told that Jesus is talking about salvation for the unsaved and water baptism for those newly saved. By the way there is no mention of water in this whole chapter. He is telling them that day on the Mount of Olives and us today wherever we may be to go teaching about the Kingdom of God to all and baptize or immerse all who receive into the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Concerning the ‘go’ part there is a caveat, and that is not to go until endued with Power (Baptism of the Holy Spirit). We are to be fully immersed into God, no one foot in and one foot out, all in or all out. Did you notice this command? “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:” What about this word ‘observe’? According to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – New Testament it means to keep an eye on, watch, to guard, keep, and to obey. This would include obeying John 14:12, don’t you think? Can you take one more before I quit for today?
Luke 10:19 (KJV)
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Do we believe this? The first word translated as “power” is talking about us having been given authority, in this case over everything regarding our demon enemies (but that is far from all). The second appearance of the word “power” is talking about force or strength. The force or strength of our demonic foes is only manifest when we allow, we have total and absolute authority over our spiritual enemies. Notice our text says “all the power of the enemy” and “nothing shall by any means hurt you”. I Jesus just being hyperbolic here or does He indeed mean “all” and “nothing”?

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.

PRAYERS AND QUESTIONS – please contact us and we will respond. Our goal is to build a solid foundation upon which children of God can become sons of God, stand and do exploits in Jesus’ name.
PARTNERSHIP AND GIVING – Those of you who are not Partners of this Ministry and you find this ministry to be of value to you and perhaps others with whom you share it, we ask you to consider becoming Partners. A Partner is one who prays for the Ministry on a regular basis and contributes to the Ministry on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, annually). Thank you and may the Lord be pleased with your decision.
