FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK NINETY
SON – AMBASSADOR – HEIR – PART TWELVE

Greetings dear sons (and daughters), ambassadors, and joint-heirs of the Kingdom of God and welcome back to From the Prophets Chamber. Today I will be picking up with part twelve of the current series concerning sons, ambassadors, and joint-heirs in Christ. I will be moving forward to talk about being a joint-heir. My question to you and to myself is this. Are we really absorbing this and making it part and parcel of our thinking, our knowing or are these more or less another interesting teaching. This is like what we have heard before, we say a praise the Lord and move on to the next teaching. Is this how we think? Do we truly see ourselves as sons of God Almighty with the whole of creation, Heaven and earth, at our command? Do we believe and act like ambassadors or are we just scrounging around trying not to get run over by the world system. Finally, do we see ourselves as joint-heirs in Christ of all? Or do we parrot the false teachings which are so common, declaring all of this is not for now but the hereafter. What blasphemy, what trampling of the Blood and Grace of God under our feet. Before we move forward, please take a moment to share todays teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing, that is so important in expanding our reach with the good news. Now let’s move to our primary Bible text for this series reading out loud.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Romans 8:17 (KJV)
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
There is a common saying in the world which is:” if it seems too good to be true it probably is not true”. Perhaps that is a true statement in the world system many times but it is very false in the Kingdom of God. Everything that we have been freely given by Almighty God through Jesus Christ by Grace is too wonderful to fully get our natural thinking around. We have to receive it, by faith and hope in our inner man, our spirit man. Think about this question. If we were a recipient of all of the assets of the richest person upon the earth, would we deem that greater or lesser than being an heir of God. Or would we see one as physical and one as spiritual? As a son of God all things, all physical things, and all spiritual things are possible.
Mark 10:27 (KJV)
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
With natural men many things are impossible but WITH God nothing is impossible. I put “WITH” in all capitals for being with God and not separated from God is the key. The definition of ‘joint-heir’ is to be a participant in common. Consider the following.
Hebrews 1:2-3 (KJV)
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
So, the Father has given all into the hand of His Son, Jesus the Christ, our Savior. And then as we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are made joint-heirs, or participants in common of all things. All things mean all things spiritual and physical. All physical manifestations have their origin in the spirit realm both good and bad. Whatever our situation physically and spiritually is today, we have built that world by the thoughts of our mind, and the words of our mouth.
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
God created by the words and His mouth, and we in His image and likeness have created our world by the words in which we had faith. When we spoke the Word of God in faith we got His result, wonderful things, when we spoke evil, we reaped evil.
Matthew 12:35 (KJV)
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
We are heirs of all that is good in Christ Jesus. We have either already received it like salvation or it awaits our voice by faith. Why are we not walking in physical and spiritual superabundance? It is always the same answer, unbelief with or without unrepented sin. Unbelief which is sin, or other sin opens the door to the curse. Faith in God, the Word of God in our mouth, powered of love (agape), free of unbelief, led of the Holy Spirit will bring good spiritual and physical fruit. I realize this is an extra long teaching today but I will address one last thing from our primary text.
Romans 8:17 (KJV)
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Bold added)
This word suffer has to do with bearing persecution or the same kind of hardship in common with Christ. You could otherwise translate this word ‘suffer’ as ‘to put up with’. It does not mean poverty, sickness, or being killed by devils. It does mean that we will be persecuted like Jesus, and we must die to self (selfless life style) like Jesus. However, His physical and spiritual death leaves us free to live and go on to Heaven when we have finished our race (our assignments) and are satisfied. Let me emphatically state, we are not called to die for our faith, period. Being murdered is under the curse, not under the blessing.
Lord willing, I will return next Saturday with fresh insights.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
