GIFTS – PART NINETEEN
Friday – February 28, 2020, Adar 3, 5780
Greetings dear and wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. We truly hope that all of you are enjoying this Sunday series titled “Gifts”. I have started with the foundational gift of salvation or at least I will get to it in time. First, I have been laying out the legal foundation that was necessary for salvation to be available to mankind.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We know from other Scripture that God can get frustrated with mankind. This is not surprising since we get frustrated with one another and we are made in His image and likeness. I am sure He has had opportunity to shake His head in frustration with me from time to time but I am so thankful for repentance, forgiveness, restoration, and His abundant compassion and mercy.

Now, let’s pick up our study in Genesis chapter twenty-two, the most pivotal chapter in the whole Bible except for the day Jesus went to Calvary.
Genesis 22:15-19 (KJV)
15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
We are now on part nineteen (number of faith) of this amazing account, the unfolding of God’s plan of redemption. This plan was a legal plan that honored the laws that God had in place from the beginning. God had given man authority in the earth and so to bring redemption had to get at least one man to agree and enter into an unbreakable Covenant of Blood. As I mentioned last week, God is not a man that He should lie.
Numbers 23:19 (KJV)
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
God, the Triune Co-equal God, gave all authority in the earth to man in the beginning. God will not trespass that authority and the devil cannot.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Bold added)
This is a major reasons things work the way they do. God always speaks to and works through a man or woman. Always! He speaks to the man either through the Word of God or by the still small voice (Holy Spirit) and we obey or not. If we obey the Power of God can flow in response to our words decreed into the earth. If we do not obey the door is open for the curse in our lives and others due to the sin of disobedience and rebellion. Now, let’s look back at our Genesis twenty-two text. We find the angel of the LORD speaking to Abraham (and Isaac) yet a second time after the sacrifice of the ram (symbolic of the Lamb of God to come, Jesus). Again, we see the terminology, “your son, your only son” which should instantly remind us of Jesus. This is verse sixteen, sixteen is the number of love, think John 3:16. Because Abraham did not withhold his son of promise neither would the Father withhold His Son of Promise, Jesus the Christ. The One known as the Word in eternity past was sent into the world to heal all who would receive healing spirit, soul, and body. There is still much to learn from this account and I will pick up with it next week, Lord willing.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
