MORE ABOUT THE TRUTH
Wow, tomorrow is the celebration of the birth of THE SAVIOR, there is none other, there is no other way of Salvation, and no other way to the Father. A Savior is by far the most important need of mankind, then, and now. Every other question, any other decision points any person ever faces pales in the light of the salvation question. You might be saying, “well I have a pretty good life without God”. What about when this life ends? When this current physical life ends that is not the end of us by far. Let’s take a look at the Words of Jesus, the Messiah, the Savior.
John 3:16-18 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Welcome back one and all to this study of “Gifts”, gifts from God. We are currently focused on “The Armor of God” and have been for a year. Please take just a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible expanding the reach of this Ministry. I have been laying a form foundation upon which to rest this extraordinary vital knowledge. As you know I have been points us away from the Roman Armor focus to focus on the knowledge of the bodies of knowledge necessary to defend against the attacks of the enemy. Equally important is that this same knowledge equips us to take the fight to our spiritual enemies (our fight is not against flesh and blood [people]) taking people, influence, control, and territory out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. Please don’t reject this discussion of knowledge. Remember what got Adam and Eve (all of us) into trouble, bringing the curse into the earth. The mixed the knowledge of good and evil!
Genesis 2:17 (KJV)
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
You know what happened in Genesis the third chapter, verses 1-3. What about you and me?
1 Kings 18:21 (KJV)
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. (Bold added)
Now let’s review our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Ephesians 6:12-14 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
In the fourteenth verse we find three commands, the first is to stand which as we discussed is not passive but tells us to continue about the business of the Kingdom not being sidetracked. The second command is to gird ourselves with the Truth. The word ‘gird’ can also mean to be armed. And, third we are to have full knowledge of our righteousness. A couple of weeks ago I put forth that there are at least four aspects of Truth. Jesus is the Truth, the Word is the Truth, the Holy Spirit is the Truth, and Love is the Truth. The ONLY source of Truth is the Word of God, Scripture, the whole Bible. Bible Truth means nothing hidden or covered. There are many facts in all of our lives, and even things which are true but they are not The Truth. For example, it may be a fact that arthritis is present in the body, or true that cancer is present in the body but that is not the Truth spoken of God.

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (Bold added)

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
