GIFTS – PART ONE HUNDRED-TWENTY-FIVE
ARMOR OF GOD – PART SIXTY-SEVEN
FEET SHOD – PART THREE

Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this powerful study of “Gifts” currently dealing with “The Armor of God”. Just to be clear, the “Gifts” I am speaking of are those coming (or that came from) from God. Please take a moment before I move forward to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the good news, the Truth. Thank you for sharing. Do not be hasty to jump ahead because the following introduction is the same as the last two weeks. Scripture is not a one time and done thing! Let’s take just a moment to review the following familiar Scripture before moving forward.
James 1:16-17 (KJV)
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
The Apostle James warns as a lead in to verse seventeen that we must be careful not to fall into error. He goes on to say by the leadership (Anointing) that every good and every perfect gift is from our Heavenly Father. Consider this. We may (will) receive (be presented with) gifts that are not of God, our Heavenly Father but the evil ones. Our God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are nothing but good and perfect, period. The demons (devil himself) are nothing but bad, period. This harmonizes with the Word of the Master Himself.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Notice what Jesus said? The thief (demons working directly and through other people) come only to steal, kill, and destroy. Do not ever attribute any of this to our God saying that cancer, car accident, etc. was somehow God’s plan beyond our understanding, blasphemy! Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Ephesians continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, you know why.
Ephesians 6:11-15 (KJV)
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
As we reviewed or perhaps discovered last week this command, yes command, to be in the best possible position to travel for the Lord taking the gospel of peace is not new. This gospel of peace was prophesied by the First Passover (and before) and culminated in the Last Passover when the Lamb of God hung on the tree. Let’s look at another reference in the Book of Isaiah and then in the Book of Romans.
Isaiah 52:7 (KJV)
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
The mountains here are the seven pillars of society, gates, or spheres of influence. We are being told it is wonderful when the good tidings of peace are saturating and dominating these seven mountains, gates, or pillars. The publishing of salvation when accepted brings peace, the peace of God into our lives and changes everything, yes, everything! As we depart for today let’s take a look at this in the Book of Romans.
Romans 10:13-17 (KJV)
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Friday. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
