GIFTS – PART TWENTY-SIX

Greetings to our dear and wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry. God is so good and He is doing some wonderful things in us and through us, through this Ministry. I have to say it again, our God is so, so, good! Thank you for rejoining this Friday series titled “Gifts”, gifts of God. These are gifts which we are unable to obtain on our own and come to us only by His mercy, loving kindness, and grace (Grace). God has chosen us; He has chosen you and loves you with all of His heart (beyond human comprehension) and He has chosen me and my precious Donna. It brings me to tears of thanksgiving and gratitude. Our God is so good and wants and plans nothing but good for us His precious children just like we plan nothing but good for our natural children. If you have not been following this series from the onset it will be well worth your while to go back and catch up.
The gift that I have been building the foundation for is the first and essential gift of salvation. Without salvation one has no claim to anything of God. God in great love and patience had to lay a foundation for the coming of the Messiah. First, He had to have a legal mechanism to do so. Yes, a legal mechanism, an irrefutable (by the devil) legal foundation to send the Messiah. God follows His own laws and will not violate any of them ever. In Genesis 1:26 the Triune co-equal God gave mankind authority in the earth. The only way God can enter the earth or our lives is by our permission. I know that drives the religious, God in control, God is sovereign, crowd to distraction but that is just what the Bible says, not me. Just go ahead and read the Bible for yourself.
After some 1500 years after the Day of Sin and Death in the Garden of Eden God finally found a man with whom He could make Blood Covenant. A Blood Covenant is immutable (unchallengeable) and indissoluble (permanent). Once in place and had been tested as it was earlier in our study of Genesis Chapter Twenty-two it still took 2500 years for God to bring all the pieces into place for the Messiah to come. If God had the legal authority to just do as He pleases, when He pleases, He certainly would have redeemed mankind on the very first day of sin in the Garden. A loving God full of mercy and love would not have made mankind suffer for 4000 years (until Messiah) and now another 2000 years for the rapture. It all has to do with the rebellion of mankind especially among His people! Church we need to wakey, wakey!
Genesis 22:17-19 (KJV)
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
As we have been reading and studying up to the point of our text we find the LORD (Jehovah – the Father) telling Abraham, Isaac and us that because he did not withhold his son, his only son (Isaac) some really wonderful and crucial things were going to happen. The rewards of obedience to God are astonishingly wonderful. We know today the pinnacle of these things was the coming of The Word (John 1:1, 14) as the Messiah. Because Abraham did not withhold his son, his only son whom he loved God the Father would not and could not withhold the coming His Son to redeem mankind. Our text tells us that the blessing (empowerment, increase) coming through the obedience of Abraham and Issac is going to be exceedingly great. In comparison to the Messiah, the coming of Christ Jesus, and salvation, all other blessings no matter how wonderful like redemption from the curse, pale. Just think what an over the top God we have. He didn’t just come and say; “ok, you’re saved now get along the best you can”. He not only saved us but gave us the authority and power to live a life far above all the world in victory after victory. Look at this seventeenth verse in The Living Bible translation.
Genesis 22:17 (TLB)
17 I will bless you with incredible blessings and multiply your descendants into countless thousands and millions, like the stars above you in the sky, and like the sands along the seashore. They will conquer their enemies,
It is generally believed that the stars and the sand spoken of here are two different groups of people. The stars are the Church and the sands are the natural Jewish people (physical descendants of Abraham). This would be consistent with what we see in the creation where stars (Genesis 1:16-17) are spoken of to give light upon the earth and also of where Jesus says we are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Isn’t Scripture just so wonderful? Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
