GONE INTO BONDAGE
Greetings dear and precious saints (sheep), those who profess to know the Lord but are goats, and those who are not yet saints. Welcome back to this wonderful study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. God is so good to all of us. Anything good (by Bible standards) going on in our life is of God and everything else is of the enemy and or our own making. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to spread the good news beyond our reach without you. Thank you for sharing. Before we delve into the study for today of the Bible Book of Isaiah, I want to say a few words about the COVID vaccination. The truth about the COVID vaccination like all of the vaccinations to precede it, is that it and they are safe and effective. No vaccination protects 100% of those vaccinated 100% of the time. Approximately 5 – 6% of people vaccinated get no protection however the other 94% plus get partial to total protection. This has to do with individual differences, characteristics, between people’s immune functions. The other factor is the mutation of the particular virus in question. So, the vaccine that was developed for the original COVID may offer only partial protection against a variant or mutation like the delta variant. Therefore, we see so called fully vaccinated persons have breakthrough disease however it is rare, compared to unvaccinated persons, that they are hospitalized or die. Can a very tiny group of people have a significant reaction to any vaccine? Yes, but let me emphasize it is a very small group, but real. None of us have a right to put our families at risk or our fellow man. Just as you would warn a passenger to buckle their seatbelt so I warn you to get the vaccination. A few people are injured by a seatbelt but an enormous number of peoples lives have been saved by the seatbelt. There is no such thing as a religious exemption for any vaccination. Show me the Bible verses. Now, let’s move to our study of the Bible Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 7:17-20 (KJV)
17 The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
These verses are difficult to understand so I will put them up in the Message Bible. As you read this remain aware of why this judgment has been rendered. God’s people have turned from His thoughts, Words, and ways and have refused to return to Him and thus are suffering the consequences of turning aside to other gods. Read Deuteronomy chapter twenty-eight again. Sin brings a great shame upon any person, any people. This people and the Church today have chosen another path, other gods. The heathen did not bring them or America to its current situation, it was and is God’s people. Look at America, at the moment.
Isaiah 7:17-20 (MSG)
17 But also be warned: GOD will bring on you and your people and your government a judgment worse than anything since the time the kingdom split, when Ephraim left Judah. The king of Assyria is coming!”
18 That’s when GOD will whistle for the flies at the headwaters of Egypt’s Nile, and whistle for the bees in the land of Assyria.
19 They’ll come and infest every nook and cranny of this country. There’ll be no getting away from them.
20 And that’s when the Master will take the razor rented from across the Euphrates—the king of Assyria no less!—and shave the hair off your heads and genitals, leaving you shamed, exposed, and denuded. He’ll shave off your beards while he’s at it.
The Church is in bondage, taken captive by our Assyria, and fully exposed for its fear, hypocrisy, lack of faith and Power. The COVID pandemic which has not gone away and is not going away have illuminated the utter uselessness of the modern Church. In these last days there are things coming, and soon, that will eclipse the COVID. How can this be? A weak powerless Church! However, there is a remnant arising (as always). The Church is missing a wonderful opportunity to be a leader and be the center of every community but it chooses fear, rebellion, and conspiracy theories (lies). Instead of bringing hope to their communities the Church has become a byword in many cases due to rebellion against authority (against God – Romans 13).

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
