THE LAND PERISHES
Greetings dear and precious saints of God. If you are not a saint, go ahead and get saved right now and instantly be a saint of God, a citizen of the Kingdom of God (Heaven). You don’t have to wait for the Pope or wait 100 years. A saint is one who is blameless and holy before God. The moment you are in Christ Jesus, you are holy and blameless before the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You can say the following right along with the Apostle Paul.
2 Corinthians 7:2 (KJV)
2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.
Before I move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the good news. The picture today was graciously provided by our good friend and man of God, Joe Getchell Jr. Thank you, Joe. Now I want to take a moment to talk about a poorly understood but frequently used Truth.
Matthew 16:19 (KJV)
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
One of the keys of the Kingdom of God (Heaven) is the authority to bind (prohibit) and/or loose (allow) anything in the earth. Keep in mind that whatever we bind or loose here in the earth has no effect on what is allowed or not allowed in Heaven, only on the earth. All things were settled long ago in Heaven but we are in the process of settling those things in the earth (will of God). We, the saints of God have all authority (dominion) in the earth. We can allow or forbid anything according to our freewill.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion … over all the earth, …
According to spiritual (and physical) laws, Jesus is upholding all things. For example, we may allow (and have) the COVID to run wild and He will allow that. It is not legal or permissible for COVID in Heaven but only here according to our will.
Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Looking back at Matthew 16:19 notice the phrases “bound in heaven” and “loosed in heaven”. The word “in” can accurately be translated as “by”. So, whatever we choose to happen in the earth Heaven will allow. Jesus is upholding our words, our authority. Let us get ahold on our thoughts, our words, and actions being sure they are Father God’s and not those of the god of this world. Now on to Isaiah briefly, continue reading out loud.
Isaiah 7:21-25 (KJV)
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
As we come to the end this chapter and we read about the people being overrun, slaughtered, and taken captive to foreign territory as well as the land coming into ruin, remember the cause.
Isaiah 1:2-4 (KJV)
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
The cause is the sin, the wickedness of God’s people not the devil’s people, but God’s people. What makes any of us think it is anything different today? When a situation goes from bad to worse it is not God, it is the devil coupled with the failure of the people of God to repent and act upon the Truth.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
